SPOTLIGHT: Parker’s Profile

Banner695px

Thanks so much for having me on your blog today to talk about Parker’s Profile! I can’t wait for everyone to meet Parker and Lane as I’ve become quite fond of them since the day they sprang to life.

The boys first appeared to me last December when a certain viral video was making the rounds. You know the one I’m talking about. The one where the impossibly beautiful Brock O’Hurn teaches the ridiculously adorable Zach Kornfeld how to be sexy? Yep, that video. And because it’s the way my brain works, my first thought was, “oh, what if it were two slightly different men in that situation?” And thus sprang forth my story idea.

And, while I did envision Zach and Brock initially, it didn’t take long before Parker and Lane were two fully-formed characters with their own ideas about how their story needed to be told. So I listened. And I hope you enjoy.

Parker Knowles needs a date. No, really. If he can’t find one by Valentine’s Day, he’s agreed to let his sister fix him up. And quite frankly, he’d rather chew off his own arm than go out with someone of his sister’s choosing.

Internet phenom, Lane Steadman, has offered to show Parker the art of the perfect selfie. After all, an outstanding dating profile is useless without a topnotch photo, right?

Can love really be found on the Internet? Or is a real-world connection closer to Parker than he thinks?

EXCERPT:

“What we need to do is get you wet.”

“Pardon?” Parker squawked.

“Yeah. Aside from that video Seth posted, my most popular pics are the ones at the beach or in a pool,” Lane explained.

There’s a shocker, Parker thought.

“I smelled chlorine in the lobby. I’m assuming there’s a pool in your building?” the other man continued.

“Yeah, there is, but…”

“Perfect.” Lane hopped up and slid his phone into his back pocket, giving Parker both the means and opportunity to ogle. And ogle, he did.

Until he realized Lane meant to take pictures of him in a bathing suit, and all ogling ground to a screeching halt. Oh, hell no

“I’m not sure if it’s such a good idea,” was what he actually said.

“What’s not a good idea?” With perfect timing, Seth strolled into the living room and handed them both a beer.

“Me posing in a pool.” Parker searched for a reason that wasn’t I don’t want to pop a boner near Lane that I can’t hide in a bathing suit.

“Maybe being in the pool will relax you,” Lane added. “Because I don’t think the beer is doing the trick.”

Parker knew the gorgeous man was trying to be helpful. Reluctantly, he nodded.

“Fine. Can I grab my trunks first?”

“Unless you’d prefer to be naked.” Lane winked and Parker felt his kneecaps liquefy.

He knew Lane hadn’t intended to come across as flirtatious. Unfortunately, his brain was having a tough time comprehending that. Pull yourself together, you drooling idiot. This guy is doing you a favor. The least you can do is behave like a sane, rational adult.

Too bad his id was projecting horny, teenage boy.

Pushing aside his inappropriate and misplaced lust, Parker headed into his bedroom and quickly changed his clothes, swapping out boxer briefs for swim trunks. He could do this.

As he headed back into the living room, he grabbed the security swipe card off the key rack by the door. “Okay, let’s get it over with.”

Lane and Seth followed behind Parker and kept up a constant chatter as the three of them rode the elevator to the lobby. Parker waved a quick hello to a neighbor as they exited and made their way toward the pool. When he heard voices coming from the direction of their final destination, however, he started to have second (and possibly third and fourth) thoughts.

“There’s people in there.” He faltered outside the glass doors that led to the pool. “Maybe this isn’t such a good—”

“Nope.” Seth grabbed the swipe card from Parker. “You’re not bailing on this.”

“M’not bailing. Just … can we do it when there’s nobody around?” He was prepared to start begging when the two older gentlemen who had been swimming laps, climbed out of the pool and started gathering up their belongings.

Seth had already unlocked the door and was holding it open for Parker and Lane to join him on the deck of the now-empty pool. “C’mon, stud. Let’s take some pictures.”

“Oh God.” Parker cringed at Seth’s choice of words. As they made their way around the perimeter of the pool, he looked to Lane, who had his phone out and looked keen to get started.

“Should I just…”

“Strip, baby.” Lane’s eyes crinkled in mirth as his mouth curved into a wicked grin.

“I hate you both,” Parker muttered as he fumbled with the buttons on his shirt.

SPOTLIGHT: Under His Boss

Thanks so much for having my boys on your blog today J

Well, I say my boys, but from the minute James and George met, they only had eyes for each other. However, office romances are never a good idea, especially when you’re the new boss, and the man you fancy is your office manager.

George has no idea how to make that first move. He knows James is gay, but everyone in the office assumes George is straight, and besides… you can’t just tell your staff that you want to fuck them silly, now, can you? Never mind the fact that you might be developing feelings for them.

*winks*

No, a subtle move is needed, and this card is it.

Okay, maybe the card isn’t that subtle, but it sure gets the point across.

After all, The New Year is a time for new beginnings, and George wants those with James… if he can only convince him that Love is a precious thing…

Blurb:

~Love is a precious thing~

When James Dyllon finds an explicit card on his desk he doesn’t know what to think. His hot as Hades boss has never given him the slightest indication that he returns James’ affections, so this card can’t be from him. Two male lovers entwined—someone is having a laugh at his expense.

George MacKenzie is done lusting after James from afar. A New Year brings with it the opportunity for change and George is tired of hiding. Since taking over the company after his father fell ill, he is finally in a position to act on his feelings, and he wants James. The card might be a feeble attempt, but at least James does not seem disinterested.

Together they will be able to weather anything, as long as he can convince James that he really does want forever.

Excerpt:

“Happy New Year, boss.”

He put the tray on the night stand, and offered George two aspirin and the glass of water. George swallowed them and winced anew at the sandpapery quality of his throat. James grinned again—in sympathy George assumed—though it was difficult to determine through his blurry eyed vision and the brass band which seemed to have taken up residence in his head.

“Happy New Year.” George managed to croak those few words out and collapsed back on the bed with a groan. “I’m never drinking again.”

“Of course you won’t. Here, sit up, get your caffeine hit, and have a shower. You’ll feel better afterward, I promise.”

George glared at the other man through hooded lids, and decided there and then that James had to be some sort of sadist. No one was this happy first thing in the morning, and took this much delight in torturing another human being into sitting up. The clanging cymbals in his head all decided to bash together in discord and George groaned and held his head in his hands.

“Fuck.”

James’s amused snort joined in with the percussion instruments crashing against his skull and George screwed his eyes shut and pinched the bridge of his nose.

“Sadly we haven’t yet. I don’t think jerking off to images of you passed out in my bed counts as fucking you, and I do find myself most impatient to do so, so be a good boy, drink this coffee, and then for the love of God, shower, man.”

Amusement tinged those words, but there was an underlying edge that registered over the fuzz for brains in George’s head, and he cracked one eye open to look at James. The intensity of his gaze made him swallow, and all conscious thought fled out of his brain as James grasped his hands and wrapped them round the steaming cup of coffee.

“Coffee, shower, fuck, in that order.”

James winked at him, and George did as he was told. The slap to his ass as he stumbled off the bed and James pointed him to the bathroom, stung, and made his cock jerk. James noticed, of course and wrapped his hand around George’s shaft and pumped it a few times. Exquisite pleasure shot through George’s system, and he braced a hand on the wall to steady himself.

“Fuck, James, stop doing that, or I’ll never make it into the shower.”

James laughed, bit his shoulder lightly, released his cock, and swatted his ass again.

“Don’t be too long in there, or I’ll be forced to join you.”

George groaned and shook his head.

“Is that supposed to be a deterrent or a promise?” He didn’t catch James’s laughing reply, as he stumbled into the bathroom. By the time he managed to eventually relieve himself, wash his hands, and brush his teeth with the spare toothbrush he’d found propped up against the sink, he felt almost human. The warm stream of the power shower further revived him, and he stood and let the hot spray cascade over him. He wasn’t entirely surprised to hear the shower enclosure open and shut and he sucked in a breath when he opened his eyes. James stood with his back to him, and George got his first good look at James’s dragon. It covered his back, wings flapping wildly, and the art work was supreme. Over James’s broad shoulders, down his muscular back and into his delectable ass, George’s gaze followed the trail of ink, and giving into the need to touch the other man, he let his hands follow the trail of his visual inspection.

His cock reared back into life with a speed and force that left him lightheaded as James’s lust filled groan trembled through the confined space of their shower enclosure, and his lover’s muscles tensed under George’s fingertips.

“That’s fucking awesome, baby.” George ran his knuckles down James’s spine until he reached the globes of his ass. Squeezing the firm flesh he kneaded his lover’s butt cheeks and kissed down James’s back. It took a bit of awkward maneuvering in their confined space, but he managed to drop to his knees, and continue his path downward. James swore under his breath and slapped his hands on the tiled wall for support when George spread his lover’s ass cheeks and licked from James’s heavy balls upward to his anus.

James tensed and panted, when George tunneled his tongue through James’s ring of muscle while bringing one hand round to grasp his thick shaft.

“Fuck, George, you don’t have to… Jesus.”

James’s cock jerked and pulsed in George’s firm grasp, and those tight muscles guarding James’s rear entrance tightened around his tongue in involuntary clenches that told George in no uncertain terms how close James was getting. Anal play was something George had always enjoyed. The mere intimacy of the act showed how much you trusted the other person, and he withdrew slowly and growled his next words into James’s hairy thighs, while he fondled the man’s heavy balls.

“Turn round, baby. I want to taste you.”

About Doris:

Glutton for punishment would be a good description for Doris… at least that’s what she hears on an almost daily basis when people find out that she has a brood of nine children, ranging from adult to toddler and lives happily in a far too small house, cluttered with children, pets, dust bunnies, and one very understanding and supportive husband. Domestic goddess she is not.

There is always something better to do after all, like working on the latest manuscript and trying not to scare the locals even more than usual by talking out loud to the voices in her head. Her characters tend to be pretty insistent to get their stories told, and you will find Doris burning the midnight oil on a regular basis. Only time to get any peace and quiet and besides, sleep is for wimps.

She likes to spin sensual, sassy, and sexy tales involving alpha heroes to die for, and heroines who give as good as they get. From contemporary to paranormal, BDSM to F/F, and Ménage, haunting love stories are guaranteed.

SPOTLIGHT: Finding Home

Left adrift after escaping from an abusive relationship and being constantly on the move in an effort to stay one step ahead of his abuser has left Salem Rooks with little in the way of personal connections in his life.  So when Salem bumps into an attractive stranger on his way to work one morning he isn’t expecting it to lead anywhere.  He certainly isn’t expecting it to change his life.

Wyatt Pendleton is handsome, sweet natured, and homeless.  Drawn to the quiet strength Wyatt exudes Salem finds himself pulled back to the man’s side time and time again.  Working through their differences is a challenge, as is the ever looming shadow of Carter, Salem’s abusive ex, to deal with.  Despite that Salem finds that he and Wyatt are both willing to fight and overcome all of it in order to protect the home that they’ve found in each other.

EXCERPT

He wanted Wyatt fiercely in that instance and his hands moved down of their own accord to pluck at the waistband of Wyatt’s pants.  He was all set to tug at it, to finally see what Wyatt’s cock looked like when one of Wyatt’s hands suddenly wrapped around his fingers and tugged them away.  Startled, Salem pulled back far enough to look Wyatt in the face.

Wyatt was flushed, his cheeks red above the dark line of his beard, his lips kiss swollen and his eyes bright with want.  Salem’s own face felt hot, the skin of his cheeks and around his mouth rubbed tender by Wyatt’s beard.  He leaned forward to kiss Wyatt again, but to his surprise and slight hurt Wyatt shook his head slowly.  Salem sat frozen as Wyatt raised a hand up to slowly, carefully, cup his jaw in the warmth of his palm instead in a gesture that had quickly grown familiar between the two of them.

“We can’t, Salem.  Not now, not just yet.”  Wyatt’s voice was a deep, throaty rasp that made Salem’s stomach flutter for a brief second before he focused on what had been said.

“Why not?”  Salem cleared his throat and did his best to ignore the huskiness of his own voice as doubt crept up on him suddenly.  It was enough to break through the passionate haze that had fallen over him.  “Do you not want me?”  Salem shifted nervously where he was pressed against Wyatt’s body as he waited for the answer.  He was sure Wyatt did want him, but he still felt compelled to ask.  He could feel the line of his cock pressed against his own hip, a thick hot weight that made Salem want to sigh in anticipation, but it suddenly wasn’t proof enough.  He’d been wrong about so much in the past that Salem needed the reassurance.

“I want you.”  Wyatt replied instantly before he leaned back down into Salem’s space to nip and suck at his earlobe.  Salem shuddered.  “I’ve wanted you for weeks now.  I’ve imagined being with you, in you, a hundred times.  I’d daydream about kissing you, about how you’d taste, what you’d feel like.  Wanting’s not the issue, Salem.”

My Dragon, My Dom by Dulce Dennison

It’s the holiday season and sparks are going to fly…

Corbin Richters has been through one partner after another since joining the Blueberry Hill Police Department. But when he’s assigned a new partner, his dragon wakes up and takes notice. As if keeping his dragon under control isn’t hard enough, now he has to fight his body’s reaction to the delectable Josh Myers as well.

Josh doesn’t care that Corbin is gay. Secretly, he’s thrilled with that knowledge. But even if Josh is willing to take on the rough around the edges cop, even if he’s capable of bowing to the Dom, what’s he supposed to do when he catches a dragon by its tail?

Contains Consensual BDSM and M/M sex

EXCERPT

Corbin Richters watched the sexy-as-hell man walking through the door of the precinct, his blue uniform fitting snugly to his shoulders and chest, the silver badge gleaming under the florescent lights, his stride powerful and purposeful as he approached Captain Meeker. The dark hair on his head stood out in disarray, but it was artfully done, the waves beckoning to be touched in an intimate caress. His eyes looked green from this distance, and they took everything in, in a swift assessment that said he was ready for whatever danger that might be lurking within the precinct walls. Whoever he was, he wasn’t a rookie. No one got that hard-edged look, the look of a predator, the first day on the job. Corbin’s heart kicked in his chest and his hands clenched on top of the desk. What he wouldn’t give to peel away that uniform and see what lay beneath the crisp, blue material. He unconsciously licked his lips as he thought about trailing kisses along those broad shoulders. Corbin’s skin heated and his cock twitched in his pants. He felt his scales ripple under his skin and fought for control. Hell, here he was fantasizing over the man, and he wasn’t even sure if the cop was into men or women. Or both. It had been a long time since he’d had such a reaction to someone on first sight, and he wanted to explore the feelings a bit more.

“Damn.”

He cast a quick glance around. Had he said that out loud?

Corbin watched as the officer shook hands with the captain and then Captain Meeker pointed at Corbin. Why on earth was the captain sending tall, dark and sexy his way? Not that he was going to complain! He had to admit to being curious. What did the man’s voice sound like? Would he offer to shake hands? Would that little bit of contact arouse Corbin’s dragon even more? The beast was already more than a little intrigued.

The object of his desire strode across the room with panther-like grace, his movements fluid and beautiful, stopping at the edge of Corbin’s desk. The officer flashed him a smile, one that had his dragon—lusty beast—perking up considerably, and held out his hand. Corbin stood and shook it, an electrical current shooting up his arm, swirling down through his chest, and settling in his balls, making them draw up tight. His cock gave another jerk, but if the officer noticed —and something told Corbin that he had—he wasn’t commenting on it. Corbin had thought the man would pack a punch, but it still took him by surprise, this visceral reaction. He couldn’t remember the last time his dragon and he had been in total agreement on their choice of bed partners.

The man’s voice was crisp and clipped as he introduced himself. “Josh Myers.”

“Corbin Richters.” Corbin released Josh’s hand somewhat reluctantly, before he did something stupid, like jerk him closer for a different sort of embrace. As it was, he wanted to bury his nose against the man’s neck and inhale that incredible scent that was teasing him.

“It seems I’m your new partner,” Josh said.

Partner? Corbin shot the captain a look. No one had said anything about a new partner. Corbin had only been part of the Blueberry Hill Police Department for a little over a month, having been lucky enough to land the job within a week of hitting town. Already he’d gone through two partners. The men had claimed that Corbin was too rough and rude, but he knew the truth. They hadn’t wanted to work with a gay officer. Probably afraid it would rub off on them or some stupid shit like that.

“I take it this is news to you,” Josh said, that gorgeous smile flirting around his lips again. Lips that looked full and soft, the kind of lips a man could kiss forever.

Corbin cleared his throat, hoping to get better control of himself. “Yeah, I hadn’t heard that I was getting a new partner today.” He met Josh’s gaze. “But I’m glad you’re here.”

Too direct?

Josh’s smile broadened and there was something in his eyes, a warmth that told Corbin his advances might be welcome. He supposed time would tell. It was possible the guy was just being friendly and he was reading into things.

Corbin pointed to the desk butting up to his. “That will be your space. There should be some pens and paper in the drawer, but if not, we can hit up the receptionist on our way out.”

“Hitting the streets early?”

“I thought we’d swing by Espress Yourself and grab some coffee. There’s no charge to officers for a regular cup of coffee, and they usually have a few different kinds brewed. You have to pay for those fancy drinks though.”

Josh smiled again. “Sounds good. I can check out the desk when we get back.”

“The black SUV near the rear entrance is ours.”

Josh scanned him from head to toe. “I’m guessing your size has something to do with us getting the biggest vehicle. What are you? Six foot four?”

Corbin grinned. “Six-six.” Not that Josh was short. He had to be at least six-two.

They strolled out of the rear precinct door and headed to the SUV. Corbin popped the locks with the key fob and slid in.

“So…” Josh glanced his way as he snapped his seatbelt into place. “Your place or mine?”

Corbin swallowed the wrong way and coughed so hard he couldn’t breathe. “Pardon?” he croaked.

“For dinner tonight.” Josh held his gaze. “I thought it would give us a chance to get to know one another better. A couple of pizzas, some beer. Maybe put on a football game.”

“Uh…”

Josh smirked.

“Why don’t we start with that cup of coffee?” Corbin suggested. “You may discover I have bad habits and run the other way. I’ve never lost a partner in just one day and I don’t want to start now.”

Josh shrugged those powerful shoulders of his. “Suit yourself. I’m not the running type though.”

Alex is stuck in a rut. He’s facing a big decision about his future, namely, what to do with it and so far he hasn’t managed to come up with an answer.

Until he meets Jake.

Jake blows through Alex’s world like a hurricane and Alex falls hard and fast for the perpetual traveller with a penchant for secrets and a perfect smile. Jake wants Alex, but life isn’t as simple as that.

Jake never settles in one place for long and already their long-distance relationship is driving a wedge between Alex and his family. With no compromises on offer, Alex’s decision about his future becomes a decision about Jake.

For Alex, the idea of losing Jake doesn’t bear thinking about, but choosing him looks like it will mean throwing away everything Alex knows, including his relationship with his parents. And so, Alex finds himself with another question to answer.

How much would you be willing to give up, to be happy?

EXCERPT

The man walked up to the door of the last pod in the row and produced a swipe key. He opened the door, pulled Alex inside, and resumed their kiss before the door even shut behind them. Only when the man broke away to catch a breath did Alex get a chance to look around.

The space was small, a little carbon-fiber hut with just enough room for a small double bed and cupboard, and a small bathroom hidden from view behind a partition wall.

The man’s duffel bag took up most of the floor space, but there was still more than enough room for what Alex wanted to do. For what he wanted this man, this stranger to do to him. Before the man could kiss him again, though, Alex needed to know one thing.

“What’s your name?”

The man lifted Alex right up into his arms as if Alex weighed no more than a sack of potatoes and carried him to the bed.

“Jake.”

“Jake?”

“Yeah. Now, get your clothes off.”

Interview with Iyana Jenna

Thank you for joining us today, Iyana! We’re very excited to learn more about you and your new release.

Thank you so much for having me with my new story, A Second Chance, on your blog, Jessica. I really appreciate it.

What can you tell us about the story?

This story is about Ryder and Chance, two actors who are attracted to each other but have to hide their feelings because of some particular reasons that make them not brave enough to tell the other what they think. Ryder is then engaged with another man and Chance has a girlfriend. They have to walk through a winding path before they are finally together.

Is this something you’ve wanted to write for a while, or did the idea just come to you one morning?

I think this is one of the stories that just came to me one morning. Especially about Sebastian. The idea of Sebastian kind of surprised myself. 🙂

Are you a pantser or plotter?

Maybe fifty – fifty. I have to have the big picture first. Then when I start the story, I will leave it and the characters to tell the story themselves.

What can you tell us about your writing schedule? Is there a particular time of day you find more inspirational than others?

I don’t really have a writing schedule. I also write mostly on my cell phone first. So anytime I have my cell phone with me and I don’t have anything else to do, I will write.

Do you have a particular vice when you’re writing? Coffee? Chocolate?

No, I don’t think so.

Tell us three things about you that most people don’t know.

  1. I always have toast for breakfast.
  2. I love and hate giving presentations.
  3. I can’t wear high heels.

If you had one piece of advice to give an aspiring author, what would it be?

Write hot sex scenes! Something I’m lacking. Heheh.

We’d love to have a little taste of your story. Could you share an excerpt with us?

Without waiting for Mike’s answer, he slid his phone open and scrolled down to Chance’s number. Ryder glanced briefly at Mike, who simply nodded and turned away to give him a semblance of privacy. Ryder turned his attention back to the call he was making and nearly jerked in anticipation when it was answered.

“Hey. Chance, it’s—”

“I’m sorry, but Chance can’t answer the phone right now.”

Ryder’s eyes bulged. Taken aback, he swallowed. “W-what? Who is this?”

“May I ask who’s speaking, please?”

“It’s, uh, Ryder. I’m his, his best friend—”

“Oh, Ryder. Sure.”

Ryder lifted an eyebrow when the man laughed a little.

“Chance talks a lot about you,” the man went on.

“Thanks, but….” Ryder’s eyes flickered to Mike, who was observing him closely. His mind began to wander to places he didn’t want to go. How could he not? The man had Chance’s cell. “Where is he? Do you mind if I talk to him?”

“No, of course not.” The man sighed. “But he really can’t.”

“What? What happened? What have you done to him?”

“Whoa, wait a second. I’ve done nothing to him. But he’s asleep right now. He hasn’t been able to sleep for some time. He’s been in so much pain he couldn’t even rest.”

Ryder slumped in his seat, rubbing his face. “Oh, God.” Mike had been right. Feeling lightheaded, Ryder whispered into the mouthpiece. “What’s wrong with him? God, is he okay now?”

“Yeah, I truly hope so. He’s much calmer now. He caught a stomach bug a couple of days ago.”

“And you’re—you’re Sebastian, right? Sebastian Vanderbilt? I saw the pictures.”

“That’s me. Oh, and Ryder?”

“Yes?”

“I heard about your engagement. Congratulations, man.”

“Well, I don’t—”

“Hey, look,” Sebastian cut him off. “I’d love to talk to you, but I really have to go. I’ll tell Chance that you called, okay?”

“Wait, Sebastian. I’m just… you know, I—” But it was too late. Sebastian had hung up. Sucking in a breath, Ryder could only gawk in disbelief.

****

Sebastian didn’t know for sure why he felt reluctant to talk to Ryder. He had no reason to feel threatened by him, though if the way Chance talked about Ryder in the interview was anything to go by, Sebastian might have to consider how he felt toward the guy. This was such a new thing for him, feeling insecure. He wasn’t that kind of guy. Sebastian wondered what Chance had done to him.

Back in the guestroom where Chance was resting, Sebastian found him awake. Chance’s gaze wandered, his expression half-studying his surroundings, half-wondering how or why he was there in the first place. He turned to Sebastian only when he heard him clear his throat. Warmth surged in Sebastian’s heart at the fleeting blush on Chance’s freckled face. He wondered what Chance thought about the room. Sebastian loved his place, but perhaps it was childish to want to hear what Chance had to say about it.

Sebastian went to sit next to Chance, reaching out to feel his brow.

Chance groaned, shying away. “I’m not a child, Sebastian.”

“No.” Sebastian smiled. “But you gave me quite a scare.”

“Sorry.” Chance looked down.

“Hey, that’s not your fault. You were sick and obviously you hadn’t fully recovered when you left the hospital. How are you feeling now?”

“Much better.” Chance licked his lips.

“Water?”

“Please.”

Sebastian watched Chance drink slowly, and when he pulled back, some drips still clung to his lower lip. Sebastian knew he’d been staring, and he completely ignored the glass shoved back into his palm. Finally, he chuckled, put the glass away on the nightstand, and took off his shirt.

Chance’s eyes widened before they darkened a bit.

“May I?” Sebastian gestured toward a space on Chance’s huge, fluffy pillow.

Chance shifted a little to give him more room, much to his delight. He slipped under the cover and could feel Chance stiffen slightly. His face—mere inches from Sebastian’s—was taut before he relaxed and snuggled into Sebastian’s bare chest. Chance’s body felt sleep warm under his thin T-shirt, and Sebastian braved Chance’s reaction and slid a hand under it. He palmed Chance’s flat abs and up to his muscled torso, sighing appreciatively at the deep moan wrenched out of Chance’s throat.

“Beautiful,” Sebastian said huskily. “Very beautiful.” He tweaked a nipple and was rewarded with the stretched column of Chance’s smooth neck as he threw his head back, lips parting, his guttural growl sending Sebastian’s blood to his groin.

About the Author:

Iyana writes M/M short stories and novellas. Her works have been published by Evernight Publishing, JMS Books, Books to Go Now, Torquere Press, Bitten Press, Leap of Faith Publishing, Breathless Press, and Alfie Dog Fiction.

Iyana lives in Jakarta, a city famous for its traffic jams, a lot of cars and motorcycles, and people selling stuff on the roads. You can spend two hours on the road going to a place you can reach in half an hour in a normal situation. Thanks to the traffic jams, though, Iyana can come up with a lot of stories, mostly shorties, as she prefers to spend the time during her trips writing into her cell phone rather than sleeping.

Another thing Iyana loves is kitties. Right now she has three of them. Their names are Cil, Horus, and Betsy, and one kitten. When she doesn’t write, she plays with them, or they would play with her when she writes.

Spotlight: Getting a Raise

Thanks so much for hosting me on your blog today!

I’m super excited about my first real Evernight release of the year.

A short m/m that I just adored writing and hope you guys enjoy it too.

Blurb:

Nick is the most beautiful, successful, amazing man—just ask his executive assistant Tayte.

Tayte’s been in love with his boss from the moment he set eyes on him. But two years working with him and Tayte isn’t even sure Nick is gay.

But it’s time for his contract evaluation and Nick wants to give Tayte more than just a raise.

Excerpt:

“Hey, Tayte.”

The insipid voice of Connor Turner bounced into Tayte’s brain and he suppressed the shudder that rose. He lifted his gaze and took in the spectrum of color before him.

“Hey, Connor.”

Connor, who was the assistant of Greg Scholl, the man just beneath Nick on the totem pole, flounced up and rested his hip on Tayte’s desk.

“So… found out if Nick is gay yet?”

Tayte forced a smile to his lips and sat up straighter in his chair. He didn’t know, much to his chagrin. Even if he did, he certainly wouldn’t be announcing it to the biggest gossip in the building.

“Not my business, Connor.”

Connor laughed and winked. “I’ll take that as a no. You know, they say Nick only wants male assistants because he has a super jealous wife at home who can’t handle the idea of him having a hot secretary.”

Tayte inhaled sharply through his nose and turned his smile up a notch.

“I haven’t encountered a wife, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t one.”

And it was true. Tayte hadn’t encountered any wives, girlfriends, no significant other at all. However, that didn’t mean anything, since Nick received a lot of calls on his cell, but after two years, Tayte was starting to think Nick was single.

But Hetero or Homo? That was the million dollar question.

“I have heaps of work to do, Connor, and I’m sure you do too.”

Connor giggled and stepped back, his hips swinging as he moved back toward the lift.

“Oh, I’ve been working since sunrise. You know how it is.” He winked and laughed, turning away without waiting for Tayte to respond.

“No, but you certainly do.” Tayte answered anyway, grinding his teeth in frustration for a minute. He hated those sorts of guys. He didn’t mind effeminate gay men. Hell, he’d fucked more than his fair share of them over the years. But guys that deliberately acted ‘gay’ when it wasn’t their natural disposition just pissed him off. Not to mention how much men, and women for that matter, who slept their way to the top, and Connor was a prime example of that, really grated on his nerves.

“Well, you can get in line behind me if you want Nick, Connor, because I’m not moving.” Tayte muttered to himself and scanned over his list of daily jobs. Wow. Lucky Nick was out of the office today, or he’d never get all that done.

He worked all afternoon, not stopping when everyone else left at five. He really should go home, but what was waiting for him there? Two idiotic housemates and a pile of dirty washing.

“You could actually go out. Get laid.” He muttered to himself once again, furious he wasn’t excited about another one-night stand.

But how could he be? Ten minutes with some random guy? Yuck, he’d had enough of that sort of life.

“You could, I’m sure.” Nick’s voice boomed through the foyer and Tayte cried out as shock had him jumping back from his desk, his heart leaping into his throat before settling to pound against his rib cage as he looked up at his boss.

“Fuck, you scared me.”

Nick walked closer, pulling at his tie and letting it hang on his shirt in a casual way.

“Why are you still here, Tayte? You’re young and beautiful. You should be out getting your cock sucked by some lovely little thing.”

Heat flowed up into Tayte’s cheeks and he glanced down at his computer, quickly shutting down all the open programs. He’d never heard Nick speak like that, and the crude words were turning him on in a shameful way. Nothing better than a man who could talk dirty.

“Ah, well, I had to finish a few things and I, ah, l…lost track of time. I’ll g…get out of your way and h…head home now though.”

Tayte was stuttering, but he couldn’t help it. He was as embarrassed as the day his mother had found him jerking off in the bathroom when he was fifteen.

“Don’t rush, if you don’t have to go. Stay.”

The Encounter by Jacey Holbrand

I’m so excited! My story The Encounter is now available!

The Encounter is the first book in a series I’ve started called: The Agency. An ‘advertisement’ for The Agency goes something like this: “Seen a ghost? Have issues with a poltergeist? Experienced a close encounter? If you’ve come across something odd and don’t know what your next step is, call The Agency. We’re here to help you regarding your supernatural needs.”

Cool, right? (: I’m currently at work on the next few stories in this series, but for now check out The Encounter available from Evernight Publishing.

Excerpt

Zen threw his arms around him in a tight hold and claimed his mouth with wild abandon. Seth’s head reeled. He couldn’t believe he and Zen were kissing. Granted, it wasn’t anything like the soft moments and slow love making he’d imagined over the years, but he’d take what he could get at the moment.

Zen moved his hands up and down Seth’s back. The heated touch under his jacket and over his shirt seared his skin in a delightful way. Zen’s lips pressed upon his almost too violently. He swept his tongue out, forcing Seth to open his mouth.

Seth adored the taste of him, salty and spicy, and his scent of leather and earth as well.

God, for so long he’d waited to have Zen in his arms, his body close. Zen’s lips trailed down his neck. Seth reached up and cupped the back of Zen’s head. Zen pulled at his shirt, tugging it from the confines of his pants without breaking the kiss. In the process of kissing him, somehow Zen was able to unbutton and unzip both their pants and free their cocks out of the openings.

Desire rushed through Seth, clawing at his insides. Zen clutched at him like a drowning man scrambling for purchase on any floating thing to save him from the watery depths. Hands traveled over his shoulders, up his shirt, feeling all the nuances of his chest and back down to his rock-hard cock. The man held their dicks against each other, and Seth sucked in a long stream of air. The feel of their two satiny lengths rubbing together was a heady sensation.

Zen turned their bodies and laid them down. He stretched over Seth. Seth loved feeling the weight and heat of Zen’s strong body atop his. Still, Zen continued to kiss him, and he continued to surrender to the demand of Zen’s mouth.

The temperature in Thailand is a humid ninety degrees but things are about to get a lot hotter. Excerpt

The door closed behind them, and suddenly David felt a little shy. He stared at Kai for an awkward moment, wanting to touch and be touched, but not quite believing they were finally alone. Or maybe he was just used to Bernie taking the lead.

Kai waited silently. He really was hotter than any man had a right to be, with those almond-shaped eyes and pouty lips just begging to be kissed. David’s gaze slid south and settled on the full, hard cock straining against the thin material of Kai’s pants. God, he wanted to hold Kai’s prick in his hand, breathe in the scent, taste the drops of precum leaking from the tip….

When he looked up, he saw Kai still watching him. The heat in those brown eyes turned his insides to mush. Desire overcame shyness, and David edged closer. Kai met him halfway and David let out a moan as he captured Kai’s mouth, teasing him with his tongue. Two arms snaked around David’s waist, and their swollen cocks rubbed as they kissed. Hot spikes of sensation flared at David’s groin, and he pulled Kai tighter against his body.

When they broke for a breath, Kai was flushed and panting. Without a word, he slipped from David’s grasp and went to his knees. His slim fingers gripped the waistband of David’s slacks and tugged until they puddled at David’s feet. Eyes so wide and dark they appeared black looked up at him. Then Kai pressed his mouth to the silky fabric covering David’s erection.

“Oh, fuck.” David threaded his fingers in Kai’s thick black hair.

When Kai sucked on the tip of David’s cock, David swore he could feel the wet heat through his boxers. His thoughts scattered and he swallowed hard in anticipation. “Kai, please.” He tightened his grip on Kai’s hair and pulled gently.

Kai stood, and they undressed each other like they had that day at the temple. David smoothed a palm over Kai’s chest, muscles tensed and quivered under his touch. The goal had been to get inside this man who tempted him beyond reason, but now he didn’t know if he’d last that long.
