Books+Coffee=Happiness will use our own newsletter to schedule swaps for your book (which means you don’t need a newsletter for this service), and we’ll find authors who write in a similar genre. We can also place your book in group promotions, providing there are any available that fit your title.
If you’re looking for a review, we aren’t accepting review requests. We receive review copies from PR companies, Book Sirens, NetGalley, and other similar sites. At no time will we ever accept payment for a review!
Accepted fiction genres: Cozy Mystery, Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Thrillers, Horror, Young Adult, Steamy to Spicy Romance (all sub-genres except Christian), and LGBT. To be clear, we have nothing against Christian fiction or romances, but they aren’t a good fit for our blog or readership. Both Kindle Unlimited and Wide titles are okay. No reader magnets!
There will be times we send updates to you so you’ll know when your book will be included in a newsletter or group promotion. At the end of your service dates, you will receive a report similiar to the stats section below. If you’re submitting more than one title (which is allowed), you’ll receive stats for each book.

Features: If submitting a newsletter feature, please only submit one book per month. We send newsletters each week, which means there are 4 feature spots open each month. Our newsletters go out on Thursdays. Featured books can be new releases (full price is fine), discounted titles, or even free books (as long as they aren’t reader magnets). We do accept swap requests via StoryOrigin for mention spots for reader magnets. There’s no charge for that, but it’s limited availability.
Audiobook Spotlights: There can be as many as two per newsletter, but please don’t submit the same title more than once per month. We limit the spotlights to two per author (as long as they are two different audiobooks) each month. Your spotlight should be a sales link (Audible, Chirp, Kobo, etc) or if you’re hoping for audio reviews, you can also offer a link for people to request review codes.
Audio Review Codes: If you’d like for Books+Coffee=Happiness to handle your audio review codes, you’ll need to supply at least 10 US and 10 UK codes for your title (if using Audible) or 15 Spotify codes if you get yours through Findaway Voices. We cannot guarantee every person who requests a code will actually leave a review, but we try to only accept those with a good reputation for following through. We see about an 85-90% review rate. We can also not guarantee a positive review! We will leave your codes available for 60 days. Any unused codes will be returned to you. Should all your codes be claimed before the 60 days are up, you will be offered the option to add additional codes for an additional $5.
Audiobook Newsletter Swaps: The newsletters available for audiobook swaps aren’t as plentiful as ebooks, but we will submit your audiobook to a minimum of 5 newsletters and as many as 10. We cannot gaurateen the acceptance rate from the newsletter hosts.
Newsletter Swaps: We submit your book to no less than 8 newsletters. However, we cannot control whether or not your book is accepted. That’s up to the newsletter host. No matter how many times we need to request spots for your title, we will get your book in front of as many readers as possible. You can see samples of our swap results below.
Group Promotions: Group promotions are limited to what is currently available. That’s out of our control. We strive to place each book in at least 1 promo and as many as 4. Promotions are easier for Kindle Unlimited titles, but we can typically find some for discounted books as well. If your book isn’t accepted into a promotion during your promo dates, you can either request a partial refund or we can extend the group promotions placement another 2-4 weeks at no additional charge.

Include the buy link(s) to your book, any sales you have planned (if any), and your preferred dates for the service. We can get started within 48 hours of receiving payment. Invoices will be sent and are payable via PayPal or Venmo.

Books+Coffee=Happiness cannot guarantee how many clicks your books will receive in newsletter swaps, or group promotions. At this time, we are unable to track clicks in group promotions. However, we will include your newsletter swap clicks in your stats reports.

Click rates are an average range for features in our newsletter. Some books receive as few as 10 clicks, and others as many as 150. The largest number of clicks we’ve seen for a single title is over 300, however, we’ve also seen books with only 1 or 2 clicks. We cannot guarantee how many clicks your book will receive. Cover art, book description, and price play a big part in how well your book will do.
All fees for services are non-refundable, except as specified above.
