Enchanted by Him @JaceyHolbrand #EroticRomance #GayRomance #BikerRomance @evernightpub

Hey folks! Jacey Holbrand here. I’m happy to announce I have another story in my Helldorado Mongrels MC series out now: Enchanted by Him!

~ * ~ ABOUT THE BOOK ~ * ~

The timeline of Enchanted by Him overlaps the one set in the second book Seduced by Him. (The stories in the series can be read as standalones, but as with most series, it’s best if they’re read in order). In Enchanted by Him, we’re reintroduced to the character Sloth—the man Tex, from Seduced by Him, is forced to ride up to Las Vegas with.

We follow Sloth and learn why he splits off from Tex, we learn Sloth’s secret, and of course, we go on a journey with Sloth as he discovers his mate and falls in love. We also see what finally happens to Inferno, the leader of the Helldorado Mongrels MC.

Come be enchanted!

~ * ~ BLURB ~ * ~

Helldorado Mongrels MC member, Sloth, is a man with secrets. He’d joined the club with a specific goal in mind, and when three visitors arrive, he fears one of them will turn his world upside down. Especially since that newcomer is a witch and his mate.

Shaman, the medic from the Skinwalkers MC, was hired to find the woman after the Mongrels’s gold and has secrets himself. When he meets Sloth, the man he knows is destined for him, Shaman begins to reconsider his evil, witchy ways, and his internal conflict irritates him.

Despite the constant clashing of their differences, passion ignites between the two men. But will their secrets cause betrayal and hurt? Destroying their relationship before it even has a chance to fully develop? Or will love ultimately triumph?

~ * ~ EXCERPT ~ * ~

As he sputtered and his eyes watered, he spun away from the invisible partition and ran into the tall medic. The cowboy hat was gone, showing that the man sported long, jet black hair, drawn back into a ponytail. Memories of what his imagination had conjured up earlier flooded his mind and sent his cock twitching again. He had to fight an irresistible urge to drop to his knees before the man, unzip his black jeans, and take his shaft into his mouth.

Shaman chuckled, and once Sloth’s gaze connected with the medic’s gray-eyed gaze, Shaman lifted the corner of his mouth in a mischievous grin.

Sloth sucked in a stream of air as the man’s compelling and magnetic gaze held tight to his. Under the intense stare, Sloth’s body crackled and his joints hissed. The tingly sensations and odd sounds made him realize Shaman was stripping away all his cloaking spells. He tried to combat the psychic assault. His own powers weakened as Shaman continued to stare at him. All he had left was the mind block he’d put in place, and even that felt tenuous.

He attempted to step back and found he couldn’t move. Shaman had “frozen” him into place. Sloth thanked the Great Spirit he hadn’t actually been turned into an ice pop. He hated wintery cold temperatures. On top of it all, without the magic that’d been surrounding him for so long, he felt completely bare and exposed.

Again, Shaman offered a short laugh, this time snapping his fingers as well.

Sloth’s clothes disappeared. Not a stitch of fabric remained on him. To his dismay, he truly was naked. And traitor that it was, his hard cock stood at attention.

Who needs mind reading when my erection gives my thoughts away?

The medic strolled around him, seeming to appraise him like a stud at market. The man swept his fingers and hand over Sloth’s arm, buttocks, and the dip created by his spine at the top of his ass crack, making approving murmurs as he did so. Shaman came to stand in front of him and stroked his hand down Sloth’s chest to his cock.

He didn’t know how it was possible he could be rendered into a state of statue-like material, but still be able to perceive each brush of Shaman’s fingers and palm, the nuances of the man’s gentle touches and lingering caresses. Sloth would have sighed and swooned had he been able to.

“You know, perhaps I won’t kill you and consume your powers.” The medic looked up from Sloth’s cock and stared at his face. He raised a brow. “I see the shock in your eyes. Your gaze gives away everything you’re thinking.” His tone dripped of disapproval. “I’m a true skinwalker. Do you think being a mate matters to one of my kind? We crave power. Always need more. Doesn’t matter who, what, where, when, or how we get it as long as we amass as much as possible.”

Dread filled Sloth. His mate had considered killing him? Murdering him for skills he could barely use anymore himself? He wished he could close his eyes, block out the sight of Shaman, and be able to focus on clearing his head.

So much for the fairy tale euphoria of meeting one’s true love, feeling that instant connection, knowing there’s no one else who would love him unconditionally, and having the insatiable need to be with that someone.

Instead, he had confusion, despair, and panic about being tied to someone who might kill him in his sleep. Yet, he still couldn’t help being super attracted to the witch and wanting to fuck him—hard and fast or slow and easy. Didn’t matter to him how. As long as they got inside each other. And the fact that he craved to be physical with the skinwalker scared him even more.

“But then,” Shaman continued, “the pull I feel toward you is inexplicable. The thought of you no longer walking the earth pains me in a way I’ve never felt before and worsens with the idea of my hand taking you from your mortal coil. No. I won’t kill you. I won’t consume your power. But I will demand having all of you—body, heart, and soul. The two of us will be greater together as a bonded couple rather than just me having all the fun causing havoc everywhere.” Shaman clucked Sloth under the chin.

“I smell your attraction to me,” the medic stated, sneaking a glance at Sloth’s penis. “I see it, too. Yet, I also smell your fear. We can’t have that. Amorcito, you need to trust me … love me. I’m more than happy to give you some time to wrap your head around all of this. Not a lot of time, mind you, but whatever decision you come to, know this, you will be mine.”

☆☆Cover Reveal☆☆ Preacher (Dixie Reapers MC) by Harley Wylde @HarleyW_Writer @changelingpress #bikerromance #MCromance #CoverReveal

I lost the love of my life and vowed to never love again. Until temptation walked through the door …

Kayla:

My twin brother, Johnny, practically disappeared when he started prospecting for the Dixie Reapers, and if I wanted to see him, then it meant going to the compound. I’d never been inside the clubhouse, wasn’t supposed to go there, but sometimes the devil on my shoulder prods me into doing things I shouldn’t.  Johnny made it sound like there were drugs being snorted left and right and orgies, but that wasn’t what I found that night. I never expected to fall for a heartbroken man I could never have, a man much older than me. But that night, Preacher took me in his arms, claimed my virginity with a passion that left me seeing stars, and I knew that I’d made the right decision. Even if it did come back to bite me in the ass two months later. When I’d walked through the door that night, I’d never counted on being fucked by a super hot biker, and I definitely didn’t expect to end up pregnant!

Preacher:

When I lost my family, before even prospecting for the Dixie Reapers, I’d closed off my heart and vowed to never let another woman in. A quick fuck here and there with the club pussy kept me sane, but no one would ever mean anything to me. Then the most tempting woman I’ve ever met gave me a night I knew I’d always remember, right before she disappeared. When she turns up two months later, I find her in the arms of one of the prospects. Fury hits me first, then she knocks me on my ass when she tells me she’s pregnant. With my kid. I turned away from god all those years ago, gave up being a minister and signed my life over to the Dixie Reapers. I don’t know that I believe in a higher power anymore, but maybe it’s time I start praying again. Because giving this woman everything she needs, being the man she deserves, is going to take one hell of a miracle.

ABOUT THE BOOK

Darian:

When the guy I’d been seeing turned out to be a rapist sleezeball, I ran… and it led me straight to him. They call him Bull, and I can see why. The guy is massive, and I do mean everywhere. He’s so much older than me, but I can’t seem to care. The way he holds me, murmurs softly to me, I feel safe. No one’s ever cared what happened to me, but he does. I can tell he wants me, even though he’s fighting himself. But he doesn’t have to… because I’m his. I’ve held onto my virginity all these years, but I want him more than I ever thought I’d want someone. I want his hands on me, his body over mine. And for once, I’m going to get what I want. And I want Bull.

Bull:

Darian’s younger than my damn daughter, but there’s something about the sweet girl that draws me closer. When I look into her eyes, I see that she’s a fighter, but I can also see that she’s been badly broken, and I want to be the one to put the pieces back together. I have nothing to offer her. There’s more than twenty years between us, and I know I need to walk away. I’m just a dirty old man who wants her under me. I’m hard as a damn post anytime she’s nearby, and I have to fight the urge to spread those creamy thighs of hers and drive into her, claiming her body and making her mine… until I have no fight left in me. I wanted to be a better man, to walk away, but I can’t. She begs me so sweetly, and soon I can’t resist anymore. She’s mine. And any fucker who tries to take her from me is going to die a slow and painful death.

EXCERPT

Darian

My lungs felt like they were on fire as my arms pumped and my legs ran as fast as they could go. The slap slap slap of my shoes hitting the pavement filled the air around me, along with the huffing of my breath. I didn’t dare take a moment to even look over my shoulder as I charged through the darkened streets. I was in Nowhere, Alabama, some small town my supposed boyfriend had brought me to, promising an awesome party. Little had I realized, I was the entertainment. Thank God I hadn’t swallowed the pills he’d given me! If I had, I might not have survived what they had planned for me.

I seemed to be on the outskirts of town, with hardly any businesses or homes surrounding me, but I could see lights and a neon sign in the distance, and I prayed that I would find help when I got there. When I’d taken off, I’d heard them running after me, the charge of their steps spurring me on. Thankfully they were too stoned or stupid to realize they’d catch me faster in their cars, and in their bumbling attempts to catch me, I’d managed to get away. Or so I hoped. They could still be there, coming for me in the darkness, waiting until I weakened.

A huge gate came into focus with what looked like a bar behind it. I’d never seen a bar behind a fence topped with barbed wire before, but I didn’t much care what the place looked like, as long as they would help me. Maybe let me make a call, even though I didn’t know who to reach out to. It wasn’t like I had an abundance of friends, and I had no family that I knew of. I collapsed when I reached the gate, my hands sliding down the bars as my knees hit the pavement. My breath sawed in and out of my lungs, and spots danced across my vision.

“What are you doing here, sweet thing?” a male voice drawled from behind the fence.

I tried to look up, but I was too damn exhausted. Whatever adrenaline rush I’d experienced, it was waning, and intense fatigue was settling into my body, making it damn near impossible to stay upright. I didn’t know how far I’d run, but it had to have been several miles or more, and for someone who wasn’t very athletic, that felt like a ton. My hands slipped from the bars, and I fell onto my back on the pavement of the driveway and stared up at the starry sky.

The man cursed, and the gate opened, then booted steps came my way. The face peering down at me was obscured by the darkness, but he’d sounded young. Maybe late teens or early twenties? Old enough his voice had already changed. Whoever he was, he made no move to touch me.

I heard the roar of an engine from down the road, and soon a single headlight washed across me. I turned toward the light, straining to see whoever was there, my eyes squinting at the brightness. The headlight shut off, and I blinked a few times, trying to focus.

“What’s going on, Johnny?” a deeper voice asked, sending chills down my spine. There was something about that voice, something I liked. It was powerful, commanding.

“I don’t know, Bull. She came running up here like her life depended on it, then just fell on the ground. She won’t talk.”

I heard an engine shut off then heavy footsteps came toward me. The first thing I saw was long, blond hair, then a darker beard came into view. Piercing eyes peered down at me, with concern etched on the stranger’s face. In the dark, I couldn’t guess his age very well, could barely make out all his features, but he was close enough I caught his scent — leather with a hint of something warm and spicy. And what kind of name was Bull?

His touch was gentle as he brushed my hair back from my face, my long locks close in color to his. With infinite care, he scooped me up into his arms and rose to his full height. The world spun a moment, and when I looked around, I realized I was really far off the ground. He was incredibly tall, definitely over six feet. I looked back up at the man holding me, wanting to speak yet not knowing what to say. I should say something. I knew that much. He was a stranger, and for all I knew, I was in more trouble than earlier. His gaze left mine to settle on the guy he’d called Johnny.

I felt bereft without him looking at me, as if something had been taken away that was rightfully mine. Maybe I was losing my mind and going crazy. The run must have scrambled my brains as well as my insides. I definitely wasn’t thinking rationally. Never in my life had I reacted to a man like I was reacting to Bull.

“Bring my bike through the gates. I’ll come back for it later,” Bull said.

So the rumbling engine had been a motorcycle. Wait. Come back for it? Where were we going? I should have panicked, but all I felt was this soothing calm. It was almost like being in his arms was enough to make me feel safe. That’s ridiculous, Darian. He’s a stranger. What if he’s a rapist or a murderer? But ridiculous or not, that was how I felt. Even though I didn’t know where I was, or who he was, I felt like I could trust him. There was this feeling deep in my gut that the man holding me would never hurt me. I’d trusted that instinct often enough over the years, and had I listened to it when Leo had asked me out, I wouldn’t be in this mess now. It had never steered me wrong before.

He didn’t say anything more, just started walking down what appeared to be a road. Had they fenced off part of the town? Why was there a road behind that massive gate? The building we passed, the one I’d assumed was a bar, said Dixie Reapers across the top in neon lights. That still didn’t tell me anything. The road he was walking on wound around the building, and soon I saw houses. There had been a row of motorcycles parked outside the bar, and I saw more in the driveways of the homes we passed. I was getting more and more confused. Why would there be a business and a bunch of houses behind a fence topped with barbed wire? Where the hell was I? Were they some kind of cult? And what was with all the bikes? Did they not believe in vehicles with more than two wheels? It almost like being on a set from that show… what was it called? Sons of Anarchy?

We passed quite a few homes before he walked up the steps of a one-story house with a wide front porch. The color looked gray, but without a porch light on, I couldn’t tell for certain. He somehow managed to open the door without dropping me, then carried me inside, kicking the door shut behind him. He didn’t bother to lock it, but I doubted anyone was getting past their guarded gate. I just didn’t know if that gate should make me feel safer or more afraid. Despite Bull’s gentle touch, I had no idea who he was or what kind of place I’d landed in.

Bull didn’t hesitate when he entered the house but strode into the living room and eased me down onto the couch. He flicked on a lamp, and as the room flooded with light, I was surprised to see that he seemed much older than my twenty-one years. There were lines at the corners of his eyes, but he was a very handsome man. As I took in the details of his face, I felt this intense pull toward him. I’d seen attractive men before. Well, mostly boys. But there was something about him, something different. The look in his eyes said he’d seen shit I couldn’t even fathom, and yet the way he watched me…

Pre-Order — ROCKY (Dixie Reapers MC) by Harley Wylde @HarleyW_Writer #BikerRomance #EroticRomance #newadult #preorder

Intended for those who are age 18+

Mara:

I was daddy’s little girl, until he didn’t come home one day. Mom moved on, married a rich guy I can’t stand, and his son, Sebastian Rossi, wants what he can’t have — me. I didn’t realize when I chose to run that I would crash down a mountain, or that the man who pulled me from the wreckage would rescue me in every way that counts. Rocky is the biggest, sexiest badass I’ve ever seen. And the more time I spend with him, the more I want to feel his lips on mine, his hands holding me, his body claiming me. I want him so bad I can taste it, but the stubborn man says I’m too young. I’ll just have to prove him wrong.

Rocky:

All I wanted was to brood in peace and quiet on my mountaintop while I tried to outrun my demons. I never expected that past to show up in the form of a sexy as fuck woman — a woman I shouldn’t touch. I’m not only twenty years older than her, I’m part of the reason her dad never came home. I’ll do anything it takes to keep her safe, even go home to Alabama. My brothers, the Dixie Reapers, will help protect her. I’m just not sure who’s going to protect her from me, because if I ever get my hands on all those curves, I’m not ever going to let her go.

ADULT EXCERPT

Mara stood in the bedroom doorway, her gaze darting around the room. As badly as I wanted her, I also wanted tonight to be special for her. The Prospects had helped put the king size bed together, as well as the dresser. I’d bought two fluffy pillows and one of those bed in a bag sets. It wasn’t anything fancy, just a navy blanket with aqua swirls, and matching aqua sheets. I’d tried to pick something Mara might find pretty, without having to sleep under flowers and shit. So her feet wouldn’t be cold in the morning, I’d picked up the matching rug and it lay beside the bed on her side.

Three jar candles were scattered across the top of the dresser and I’d lit them, the eucalyptus and mint scents filling the air. I’d shut off the light, so only the glow of candlelight lit the area. I also had put a candle on each bedside table, but Mara didn’t know about the stuff I’d hidden in one of the drawers. We’d picked up the furniture at a warehouse on the edge of town, then stopped at a Target on the way back for everything else. While she’d been picking out towels and shit, I’d made a quick side trip down another aisle. I’d left the Prospects with her and they’d done a good job keeping her occupied.

The windows had those cheap three dollar blinds up, but I’d made sure they were closed so we’d have some privacy. I’d buy her better ones, but these were fine for now. The silvery light of the moon tried to break through them, but no one could see in and that’s what mattered. Not that I thought my brothers would pull that shit, knowing that I was going to claim my woman tonight. Everyone would give us some space.

“How did you get all this without me knowing?” she asked.

“I made sure you were distracted.”

She smiled softly. “Thank you, Rocky. This is amazing.”

“I can be an asshole, but I’m not a complete asshole. You deserve for tonight to be special. I’ve never been much of a romantic, and I can’t promise that you’ll get stuff like this all the time. I just… I didn’t want you to look back on tonight and be disappointed.”

Mara moved closer, her hand coming up to rest on my chest. “I won’t be disappointed. Even without the candles and stuff, I still wouldn’t have been. All I need is you, Rocky. If you’d taken my virginity in that cheap motel in Kansas, it still would have been a good memory for me.”

I cupped her cheek, my thumb caressing her soft skin. “Your daddy was a good man, and I don’t know that he would approve of us being together, but I promise that I will always take care of you. I’m sure I’ll make mistakes along the way, but I will never knowingly hurt you.”

“I don’t understand really about all this MC stuff, but I’ll try not to embarrass you.”

“Sweet girl, you could never embarrass me.”

I kissed her, slow and deep. Sliding my hands under her dress and cupped her ass, lifting her against me. I couldn’t wait to strip her bare and feel all those curves against me. Slow and steady, I reminded myself. It wasn’t a race. She wasn’t some club slut that I could flip over, fuck fast and hard, and walk away. She was mine, my woman, and I was going to treat her right. Oh, she would get it hard, but I was going to savor every moment, every inch of her soft body. This wasn’t just a first for her. I was far from a virgin, but it was my first time with a woman who mattered.

Sunday Snippet: Blaze (Steel Riders) by Jessica Coulter Smith #PNR #MCromance #bikers #shifters

Ride hard. Live free.

Lucas “Blaze” Thompson inhaled a lungful of nicotine before tossing the butt on the ground and putting it out under his Harley Davidson boots. Blowing out a cloud of smoke, he braced his arms on the porch railing and stared off into the night. Behind him, the raucous sounds of laughter and revelry could be heard as his brothers celebrated their latest score. They’d managed to steal ten kilos of cocaine from the Stingers M.C. and had turned around and sold it for $250,000. It wouldn’t last long, not with the rate they went through booze and marijuana, and the occasional score of heroin, but it would add to the coffers for a little while.

Truthfully, selling drugs left a bad taste in his mouth, but he supposed it could be worse. There were clubs known for prostitution and human trafficking, and he definitely wasn’t down with that shit. At least the party girls who came to their clubhouse were there of their own free will, even if half of them were hoping to become someone’s old lady. Not that Blaze was about to take sloppy seconds as his old lady, not when the party girls fucked everyone in the club, sometimes more than one at a time. He didn’t kid himself and think his mate would be virginal, but as far as he was concerned, the party girls were just one step up from whores. He had absolutely no respect for them, and when he took a mate, he was going to respect the hell out of her.

He reached for another cigarette but paused as he felt a small hand slide up his back and under his cut, the long nails slightly scraping him through his tee. Blaze didn’t know how the female had gotten the drop on him, but it wasn’t like him to be so careless. At the very least, his grizzly should have alerted him to the woman’s presence, especially since one whiff told him it was the one female he wanted to avoid.

“I’m not in the mood, Celia.”

“That wasn’t what you said last week, when you were fucking me against the hallway wall. As I recall, you didn’t say much, but you sure worked me over with that monster cock of yours.” Her hand snaked around his waist and groped him.

Blaze pried her hand away, careful not to hurt her, even though he’d have loved nothing more than to crush every bone in her body at that particular moment. The woman was downright lethal—not in a sexy way—and he knew she was trouble for the club…and him. But she sucked cock like a pro, so his brothers were ignoring his warnings. He’d caught her in the Pres’ office snooping around, but she claimed to have gotten lost on the way to the bathroom. He didn’t buy her bullshit for a moment. She was either working for someone, or looking to score. Either way, she had no business hanging around the Steel Riders, and he’d love nothing more than to boot her out on her ass.

“I fucked you,” he admitted. “Once. It’s never going to happen again.”

Fire lit her eyes for a flash of a second and then she was all syrupy smiles and simpering coos as she rubbed his chest. “You know you don’t mean that. We had a good time. It can happen again, whenever you want. However you want.”

He growled, the sound rumbling from his chest, as he bared his teeth at her. He felt his bear rise up inside of him. “I will never want you, Celia. And if you think I’m going to claim you, you couldn’t be more mistaken. I’d never take a whore like you as my mate.”

Her lips tightened and anger brightened her eyes. “So I’m not good enough for you? Good enough to fuck but not to claim?”

“You’re here to scratch an itch. Nothing more. If you want a white picket fence, you need to look elsewhere. No one in this club is going to be stupid enough to sign on to a life sentence with you.”

She drew her hand back and let it fly, but he caught it in a bruising grip before it could make contact with his cheek. He squeezed, not hard enough to break bones, but enough to get his point across. Blaze didn’t let go until she winced, then he dropped her hand and watched as she took a step back. There was hatred in her gaze as she stared up at him.

“You’re going to regret tossing me aside,” she said.

“No. What I regret is ever fucking you to begin with.”

Her cheeks flushed as she turned on her heel and stormed back inside, probably to tell his brothers what a big meanie he was. And more than likely, someone would fall for her story and take her to bed tonight. What she needed was a final send off, with her tail tucked between her legs for her treachery. There was no way Celia had been in that office by mistake. And there were plenty of drugs to be had around the club, so that only left money. She had to have been looking to steal from them. Maybe she was after the $250,000, or maybe she wanted more than that. What she didn’t know was that they seldom left cash lying around; it was locked up tightly in the safe in the boardroom, and even she wouldn’t be stupid enough to wander into that place.

Blaze shook out another cigarette and lit it up. He inhaled deeply and held the breath a moment before blowing the smoke out. He could practically feel the nicotine give him an extra charge just from that one puff. His ma had been after him to quit for years, but it wasn’t like he was going to get cancer from it, not with his shifter abilities. She should just be thankful he’d kicked his heroin habit before it had really gotten its hooks into him. He’d watched some of his brothers detox from that shit and it wasn’t pretty.

Truthfully, he didn’t know what the future held for him at this point. He was an officer with the Steel Riders M.C. and his brothers were his life. But he couldn’t ignore the emptiness he’d been feeling lately, the dull ache inside that told him something was missing. Yeah, he had a great time—drinking, smoking, and fucking anything in a skirt, but lately that wasn’t enough. He’d never dare voice his feelings or his brothers would call him a pussy and question his ability to hold the position of Sergeant-at-Arms. Blaze was known for his take-no-prisoners attitude and ability to beat the shit out of a man without blinking. And he regretted nothing he’d done for the club over the last twenty years.

He was pushing forty now. Maybe it was time to settle down. Blaze had always thought he’d know his mate when he met her, that there would be some instant pull, some recognition on his part, but what if that was just a fairy tale? What if he’d wasted all these years waiting on something that might not ever happen when he could have found some nice girl and settled down years ago? Assuming he could find a nice girl who wouldn’t mind his lifestyle. Not too many good girls wanted to link themselves to a biker for more than one night.

Yeah. That’s what he wanted. Some prim, proper, buttoned-up woman who looked like a librarian on the outside, but fucked like a wild cat. If he closed his eyes, he could almost see her. It was enough to get his dick hard. With a grunt, he put out his cigarette and contemplated his next move. He could go back inside, join the merriment and get laid once or twice by the random girls inside. Or he could call it a night and head home.

Isabella: I was seventeen when my daddy gave me to Torch, who inked me, kissed me, then watched me walk away. I was supposed to return after I graduated, but instead I ran. Now I’m back, ready to face whatever fate awaits me. He’s probably pissed, and rightly so. It was only supposed to be a short separation, but three years have passed. I expected yelling, maybe some public humiliation. It never occurred to me he’d kiss me so deeply, so passionately that I’d be begging for more. He’ll be my first, my last, my only… because I’m his, and he’s never going to let me forget it.

Torch: For years, I’ve kept my distance, watching over the girl I claimed as my own. She wears my brand, and I know it’s only a matter of time before she comes home. I remembered a stunning young woman, but it’s a siren who walks back through my door, all luscious and curvy. There may be about thirty years between us, but fuck if I care what people think. I want her. She’s mine, and I’m going to remind her of that. I’ll take her any way I can, as often as I can, and when I’m done, she’ll never again think of walking out the door. Because what she doesn’t know is that she’s done the impossible… she’s claimed the heart of a man who didn’t think he had one. Now that she’s worked her way deep inside, I’ll rain down hell on anyone who tries to keep us apart. No one’s going to come between us, especially not the man who gave his daughter to me — not even if he has the entire cartel army on his ass.

TEASER

I rinsed and shut off the water. Connor (Torch) was leaning in the bathroom doorway and my cheeks warmed when I realized he’d been watching me through the glass. He handed me a towel, and I quickly dried off, then started smoothing lotion over my body. Connor inhaled deeply, and a smile kicked up the corner of his lips.

“Whatever you bought, I like it,” he said.

When was I finished, I tossed the towel into the hamper and waited for Connor to let me pass. His gaze caressed me head to toe, lingering in his favorite places. He reached out and ran a finger down the slope of my breast before softly pinching my nipple.

“Maybe we should just stay here.”

“Why?” I asked.

“Because I like it when you’re naked.”

I fought not to laugh. “Connor, I can’t stay in this house every day, running around naked, just so you can look at me.”

“Sounds like a plan to me.”

“That’s because you’re a man. Of course, you’d think it’s a great plan. Naked women are probably your favorite thing.”

“Not women. Woman.”

I was pleased with his answer and gave him a quick kiss before pushing past him.

Throwback Thursday – Biker’s Baby by Alexis Duvall #TBT #romancebooks

Publisher: Coastal Escape Publishing
Genres: Contemporary/Biker Romance

When Bailey meets Alex, she doesn’t expect more than a steamy one-night stand from the sexy-as-hell biker. His bedroom eyes. His wicked smile. His sinful body. How could she possibly resist? She can’t keep her hands off him or her mind off the delicious things she’d like to do to him. Then her world comes crashing down. When Alex walked back out of her life, he left something behind. She can’t deny there are sparks between them, and he’s phenomenal between the sheets, but she isn’t so sure the bad boy is daddy material.

Alex hasn’t been able to get Bailey off his mind since their wild and wicked night together. Those lush curves. That soft skin. And a man could drown in those seductive eyes. But he’s never been one to go back for seconds, no matter how tempting a morsel she may be. And yet, when she storms back into his life, with rather earth-shattering news, he can’t help but acknowledge the way his heart kicks in his chest. One night might not have been enough.

Alexis Duvall has been writing stories all her life. She was first published in 2010, but that story is now out of print. Writing is a passion, however, and one that couldn’t be ignored for long. These days, you’ll find Alexis either with her nose in a book, or sitting at her computer writing about sexy heroines and the alpha males they can’t help but love. She has a fondness for writing about billionaires and bikers, with a possible stepbrother thrown in here and there for good measure.

#NewRelease Venom by @HarleyW_Writer #biker #MCromance

Venom

Series: Dixie Reapers MC #1
Publisher: Changeling Press
Release Date: February 2

Ridley:

I might live in a mansion in South Florida, but my daddy was a biker, and I was definitely Daddy’s girl. When I found out my mom and stepdad had something horrible planned for me, I ran. Straight to the Dixie Reapers, the only place I’d ever thought of as home, but it wasn’t my daddy’s arms I ended up in. Venom is dark and seductive, the type of man who doesn’t take shit from anyone. Despite his hard exterior, being with him makes me feel safe, and his kisses make me ache for so much more. I’ve never been with a man before, but even as inexperienced as I am, I know that being with Venom will ruin me for anyone else, and I don’t care. I want him — all of him — and damn the consequences.

Venom:

I hadn’t risen to the rank of VP of the Dixie Reapers MC without getting my hands dirty. I’d been deep in blood and dirty money for over twenty years, could have any pussy I wanted whenever I wanted and how the fuck ever I wanted. But when an angel I hadn’t seen in fourteen years came back into my life, all it took was one look in her eyes, and I was a goner. As a kid, Ridley had been this little blonde cherub who lit up the place. Now she’s older, has curves in all the right fucking places, and damn if I don’t want her. The fact she was the nineteen-year-old daughter of a patched member meant I needed to keep my hands to myself, and I might have, if she hadn’t begged me so sweetly. Now she’s mine, and I’ll do anything to keep her safe, even if it means starting a war.

Excerpt

By the time I’d reached the Dixie Reapers compound, I ached from head to toe and felt near to collapsing. I’d been on the road for about ten hours, and the sky was already starting to lighten. My bike came to a stop outside the gates, and a Prospect sauntered forward.

“You lost, sweet thing?” he asked, flashing crooked teeth through the beginnings of a beard.

“Get Bull.”

The man rocked back on his heels. “Bull’s busy.”

“He’s not too busy to see me.”

“Sure.” He chuckled. “The man’s balls deep in pussy, but I’m sure he’ll just run right out here to see you.”

I turned off the engine on the bike, swung my leg over the seat, and stalked forward, poking the asshole in the chest and giving him the fiercest look I could muster. My shoulders were thrown back, and I hoped I looked more intimidating than I was. “Look here, you piece of shit. You get Bull, and you fucking get him now.”

The man grabbed my hand and twisted so that I went down on my knee, my arm behind me at an odd angle.

“I don’t care who the fuck you think you are, bitch. You don’t fucking touch me unless you’re going to wrap your lips around my cock.”

Booted steps drew near. “Is there a problem, Pete?”

“Just some fucking whore who insists on seeing Bull,” the man said, twisting my arm a little more and making me cry out. “Fucking poked my chest and bowed up at me like she’s fucking someone.”

The man in the shadows chuckled. “Is that so?”

The boots came closer, and a dark head of hair appeared. The eyes that fastened on mine nearly took my breath away. I’d recognize those green eyes anywhere.

“Venom,” I said softly.

His gaze narrowed. “Just who the fuck are you, sweetheart? Because I sure as hell don’t remember you.”

“I’m Ridley Johnson,” I said, my voice almost a whisper as dots swam in front of my vision. If the Prospect turned my arm any more, it would break.

Surprise flashed in Venom’s eyes, and he shot up to his full height. The crack of a fist filled the silence, and I was suddenly released. As I tumbled the rest of the way to the ground, strong arms wrapped around me.

“I’ve got you, baby girl,” Venom murmured. “No one’s going to fucking touch you again.”
