Interview with Iyana Jenna

Thank you for joining us today, Iyana! We’re very excited to learn more about you and your new release.

Thank you so much for having me with my new story, A Second Chance, on your blog, Jessica. I really appreciate it.

What can you tell us about the story?

This story is about Ryder and Chance, two actors who are attracted to each other but have to hide their feelings because of some particular reasons that make them not brave enough to tell the other what they think. Ryder is then engaged with another man and Chance has a girlfriend. They have to walk through a winding path before they are finally together.

Is this something you’ve wanted to write for a while, or did the idea just come to you one morning?

I think this is one of the stories that just came to me one morning. Especially about Sebastian. The idea of Sebastian kind of surprised myself. 🙂

Are you a pantser or plotter?

Maybe fifty – fifty. I have to have the big picture first. Then when I start the story, I will leave it and the characters to tell the story themselves.

What can you tell us about your writing schedule? Is there a particular time of day you find more inspirational than others?

I don’t really have a writing schedule. I also write mostly on my cell phone first. So anytime I have my cell phone with me and I don’t have anything else to do, I will write.

Do you have a particular vice when you’re writing? Coffee? Chocolate?

No, I don’t think so.

Tell us three things about you that most people don’t know.

  1. I always have toast for breakfast.
  2. I love and hate giving presentations.
  3. I can’t wear high heels.

If you had one piece of advice to give an aspiring author, what would it be?

Write hot sex scenes! Something I’m lacking. Heheh.

We’d love to have a little taste of your story. Could you share an excerpt with us?

Without waiting for Mike’s answer, he slid his phone open and scrolled down to Chance’s number. Ryder glanced briefly at Mike, who simply nodded and turned away to give him a semblance of privacy. Ryder turned his attention back to the call he was making and nearly jerked in anticipation when it was answered.

“Hey. Chance, it’s—”

“I’m sorry, but Chance can’t answer the phone right now.”

Ryder’s eyes bulged. Taken aback, he swallowed. “W-what? Who is this?”

“May I ask who’s speaking, please?”

“It’s, uh, Ryder. I’m his, his best friend—”

“Oh, Ryder. Sure.”

Ryder lifted an eyebrow when the man laughed a little.

“Chance talks a lot about you,” the man went on.

“Thanks, but….” Ryder’s eyes flickered to Mike, who was observing him closely. His mind began to wander to places he didn’t want to go. How could he not? The man had Chance’s cell. “Where is he? Do you mind if I talk to him?”

“No, of course not.” The man sighed. “But he really can’t.”

“What? What happened? What have you done to him?”

“Whoa, wait a second. I’ve done nothing to him. But he’s asleep right now. He hasn’t been able to sleep for some time. He’s been in so much pain he couldn’t even rest.”

Ryder slumped in his seat, rubbing his face. “Oh, God.” Mike had been right. Feeling lightheaded, Ryder whispered into the mouthpiece. “What’s wrong with him? God, is he okay now?”

“Yeah, I truly hope so. He’s much calmer now. He caught a stomach bug a couple of days ago.”

“And you’re—you’re Sebastian, right? Sebastian Vanderbilt? I saw the pictures.”

“That’s me. Oh, and Ryder?”

“Yes?”

“I heard about your engagement. Congratulations, man.”

“Well, I don’t—”

“Hey, look,” Sebastian cut him off. “I’d love to talk to you, but I really have to go. I’ll tell Chance that you called, okay?”

“Wait, Sebastian. I’m just… you know, I—” But it was too late. Sebastian had hung up. Sucking in a breath, Ryder could only gawk in disbelief.

****

Sebastian didn’t know for sure why he felt reluctant to talk to Ryder. He had no reason to feel threatened by him, though if the way Chance talked about Ryder in the interview was anything to go by, Sebastian might have to consider how he felt toward the guy. This was such a new thing for him, feeling insecure. He wasn’t that kind of guy. Sebastian wondered what Chance had done to him.

Back in the guestroom where Chance was resting, Sebastian found him awake. Chance’s gaze wandered, his expression half-studying his surroundings, half-wondering how or why he was there in the first place. He turned to Sebastian only when he heard him clear his throat. Warmth surged in Sebastian’s heart at the fleeting blush on Chance’s freckled face. He wondered what Chance thought about the room. Sebastian loved his place, but perhaps it was childish to want to hear what Chance had to say about it.

Sebastian went to sit next to Chance, reaching out to feel his brow.

Chance groaned, shying away. “I’m not a child, Sebastian.”

“No.” Sebastian smiled. “But you gave me quite a scare.”

“Sorry.” Chance looked down.

“Hey, that’s not your fault. You were sick and obviously you hadn’t fully recovered when you left the hospital. How are you feeling now?”

“Much better.” Chance licked his lips.

“Water?”

“Please.”

Sebastian watched Chance drink slowly, and when he pulled back, some drips still clung to his lower lip. Sebastian knew he’d been staring, and he completely ignored the glass shoved back into his palm. Finally, he chuckled, put the glass away on the nightstand, and took off his shirt.

Chance’s eyes widened before they darkened a bit.

“May I?” Sebastian gestured toward a space on Chance’s huge, fluffy pillow.

Chance shifted a little to give him more room, much to his delight. He slipped under the cover and could feel Chance stiffen slightly. His face—mere inches from Sebastian’s—was taut before he relaxed and snuggled into Sebastian’s bare chest. Chance’s body felt sleep warm under his thin T-shirt, and Sebastian braved Chance’s reaction and slid a hand under it. He palmed Chance’s flat abs and up to his muscled torso, sighing appreciatively at the deep moan wrenched out of Chance’s throat.

“Beautiful,” Sebastian said huskily. “Very beautiful.” He tweaked a nipple and was rewarded with the stretched column of Chance’s smooth neck as he threw his head back, lips parting, his guttural growl sending Sebastian’s blood to his groin.

Thanks to the traffic jams, though, Iyana can come up with a lot of stories, mostly shorties, as she prefers to spend the time during her trips writing into her cell phone rather than sleeping.

Another thing Iyana loves is kitties. Right now she has three of them. Their names are Cil, Horus, and Betsy, and one kitten. When she doesn’t write, she plays with them, or they would play with her when she writes.

Excerpt

Lexie fluffed her curly blonde hair, checked to make sure the girls were still behaving and hadn’t completely spilled out of her top – however, a little peek never hurt – then she sauntered over to one yummy Drew Benson. It was only neighborly to introduce herself, after all. She sidled up to him, brushing against his body to gain his attention. When he was focused on her, she gave him her slowest, sexiest smile, the one that had gotten her into more trouble than she’d like to remember, and laid her hand on his arm.

“Hey there, cowboy. You’re looking mighty lonely standing over here by yourself.”

His gaze traced her curves, of which there were plenty, and his eyes lit in appreciation.

“I suppose you’re offering to keep me company?” he asked, his Texas drawl sending shivers down her spine. Lord, but she loved a man with an accent.

“Word around town is that you’re old man Benson’s grandson. Thing is, you don’t sound like an Okie.”

His lips tipped up on one corner, as his eyes crinkled in merriment. “And what do I sound like?”

She bit her lip, looking up at him from under her lashes. A move she’d practiced for hours in front of the mirror as a teen.

“A hot, mouthwatering, Texas cowboy.”

About the Author

PaigeWarrenAuthor

Paige Warren spends her days weaving tales about alpha male cowboys and the women who love them. There’s nothing hotter than a man in tight Wranglers and a pair of well-worn boots. You have to admit, there’s something sexy about a man who knows how to use a rope!

A cat lover, she has more than one furbaby running around, keeping her company in the wee hours of the morning as she tries to find just the right way to say “His skin gleamed, the early morning rays caressing his sun bronzed flesh, as he studied her from beneath the brim of his Stetson.” Or, you know, something similar.

When Paige isn’t dolling out tons of affection on the furbabies, or slurping down a pot of coffee (Yes! A whole pot!) so she can get in her daily word count, she enjoys reading and watching movies – romances, usually.

SPOTLIGHT: Awoken by the Sheikh

Thanks so much for having me on your blog today.

What do you do on an island of sexual abandonment? That is the question Astrid asks herself as she speeds toward the shoreline. Having been bullied and cajoled into accepting the all expenses paid trip of a life time—you can’t really turn down a birthday present like that—Astrid is ill prepared for her encounter with the enigmatic Prince Rashid.

She never reacts to complete strangers like that. There must be something in the water, or maybe this newly emerging submissive side of hers is who she truly is?

I had great fun in writing this story, and I hope readers will like it too. Previously published as Awakening, this has been completely revised and is considerably longer than the original version. I knew there was more to Astrid and Rashid’s story and this is it. And it’s the start of a new series, called services to sisterhood, where fantasy fulfilment is the aim.

Sometimes you don’t know what has been missing from your life until you’re shown who you truly are…

Services to Sisterhood, 1

Loosen up and awake your inner Sex Goddess…call it services to sisterhood.

The mere thought of an all-expenses paid trip to a tropical island of sexual abandonment makes straight-laced school teacher Astrid break out in a heat rash. What fantasy is she supposed to live out, exactly? You kinda need to have them to re-enact them, right? However, she can’t really turn down a birthday present, even if her outrageous best friend would let her.

Everything changes when she wakes up in her very own Arabian Fantasy. Prince Rashid expects her complete obedience, and Astrid can’t help but respond to the demands of the enigmatic Sheikh. Maybe it’s just the ambiance of this place but Astrid finds new strength in her submission, and the sex is out of this world.

What happens, however, when reality beckons? Can she hold onto the fantasy?

Excerpt:

“Naughty girls need to be punished.”

Punished? What on earth did he mean? Before she could question him he spun her around in his arms. One hand pinched her nipple hard. The pain was more arousing than she would have thought possible, and his other hand fisted in her hair and yanked her head up. He pinched her again, harder this time. The desire she saw in his dark eyes as he assessed her reaction made the pain spiral down towards her pussy.

“Stop, you’re hurting me!” Is that breathy denial really my voice? Her heart turned into a jackhammer as she waited for his next move, and arousal warred with fear.

He tugged her closer into his solid wall of muscle. A small smile played on his lips at her sharp intake of breath when the move brought her clit in direct contact with the broad tip of his cock. It nudged at her through the thin fabric of both their clothing.

“You don’t want me to stop.”

The growl in her ear, combined with another sharp pinch to her other nipple sent her breathing into erratic overdrive as one large hand cupped her wet folds. Heaven help her, a stab of pure lust made her knees tremble.  His low chuckle had to be the sexiest sound she’d ever heard. His stubble grazed her neck as he suckled on her skin and sank his teeth into her flesh at just the right side of pleasuring pain.

He took her moan into his mouth, and his tongue dueled with hers, before he nipped at her bottom lip hard enough for her to taste her own blood. Startled, she tried to pull away from him. His iron grip wouldn’t let her, however, and his predatory smile held her captive. “I can smell your pussy, and I’m going to taste you until you scream for my cock to fill you, deep and hard, right here.”

Astrid gasped at the sudden rip of her dress, and cool air hit her naked flesh. Rashid thrust one finger into her juices before inserting that digit right into her anus, pulling her closer still. The shock of the unexpected invasion made her sink her teeth into her lips to stop herself from moaning. “No, please, Rashid.”

Another finger thrust deep, and lifted her up on her tiptoes until her hands had to grab his shoulders for support.

“That’s no, my lord.”

At the shake of her head, a third finger stretched her further, and she couldn’t help the startled sob he caught in his mouth in a bruising kiss.

“Yield to me, my bad, bad girl, or your punishment will be worse.”

Oh. My. God. He couldn’t mean that, surely. But what did she know about this dark stranger? Nothing but her body’s complete arousal in his presence. Even now, hovering between the pain and pleasure his relentless fingers up her ass were giving her, she wanted his cock inside her so badly she could scream. What is wrong with me?

His gaze locked with hers, his breathing harsh, his pupils so dilated his eyes were almost black. He pushed deeper into her, the pain bringing tears to her eyes as he almost lifted her off the floor entirely. “Yield to me, my pretty, now! Trust me.”

Astrid couldn’t resist. Something in that dark gaze pulled her right into his barely controlled power. “Yes, my lord.”

The brilliant smile took her breath away, and she winced as his fingers slowly and carefully withdrew.

“Good girl. Now shut your eyes.”

“Why?” She couldn’t help but utter the question, even though her insides churned at the thought of his displeasure.

Sure enough, he growled in answer, the sound so low and animalistic that every feminine cell in her body just melted, until she had to fight the urge to sink to her knees in front of him. He raised his eyebrows, moved to stand behind her, and then slapped her ass hard enough to make her gasp. Gooseflesh broke out over her exposed skin when he tugged her head back on his shoulder and she saw his sinful grin. Astrid’s breath stalled in her lungs at the first of several more openhanded swats to her behind. They left her butt on fire. Heat traveled over her skin and sent her arousal up another notch. Surely being spanked like this should not turn her on even more, and make her wish he would bend her over his knee and do the job properly? By the time he’d delivered that last stinging swat, she gasped her answer.

“Yes, my lord.”

“That’s better, my pretty.” She could hear the smile in his voice and feel it in the butterfly kisses on her shoulder blades as he circled her. The swish of cool silk over her sensitive tummy made her pull in the muscles there in anticipation. The silk moved higher, a bare whisper across her engorged breasts, before it settled over her eyes. His warm hand grasped hers and lifted her arm high as another slow, tantalizing swish of silk slid up her body before he tied it around her wrist, and secured her arm high above her head. The tickle of yet more silk started on the inside of her thigh this time, and brushed across her clit repeatedly. It caused more of her juices to moisten her already wet pussy lips, and beads of perspiration broke out on her skin. Astrid could smell her own arousal in the air, mixed with the unique scent of the man breathing into her ear. His sharp intake of breath told her he was as affected as she was. The whispered Arabic words breathed against her flesh sent shivers of awareness down her spine. Rashid lifted her other arm so high, she had to once again stand on tiptoes.

“My lord?”

Author Bio:

Glutton for punishment would be a good description for Doris… at least that’s what she hears on an almost daily basis when people find out that she has a brood of nine children, ranging from adult to toddler and lives happily in a far too small house, cluttered with children, pets, dust bunnies, and one very understanding and supportive husband. Domestic goddess she is not.

There is always something better to do after all, like working on the latest manuscript and trying not to scare the locals even more than usual by talking out loud to the voices in her head. Her characters tend to be pretty insistent to get their stories told, and you will find Doris burning the midnight oil on a regular basis. Only time to get any peace and quiet and besides, sleep is for wimps.

She likes to spin sensual, sassy, and sexy tales involving alpha heroes to die for, and heroines who give as good as they get. From contemporary to paranormal, BDSM to F/F, and Ménage, haunting love stories are guaranteed.

Wicked Flower by Carlene Love Flores

wickedflower1m

Hello out there! Hi Jessica. Thank you so much for the invitation to visit your lovely cyber home and talk about my new release. It’s so pretty here. This is my first time visiting and I have to say being part of the Evernight Family is a very special thing. Whether you’ve been with them for a while or are brand new, everyone is very generous and always willing to help their fellow writer. Jessica fits right in! Thanks, lady.

The book I’ve brought today is the fifth story in my rock star romance series, The Sin Pointe Novels. Wicked Flower is all about the band’s lead singing bass player, Stefan Calderon. To celebrate its release as well as the series as a whole, I got the idea to share some of my favorite Stefan Moments over the years at each blog tour stop. Today’s comes from Book 2, Sin’s Flower. Lily, the story’s heroine, is nursing a long-time crush on Stefan while trying to navigate the murky waters of truly falling for the hero, Jaxon. I love this scene especially because series favorite Benny puts in an appearance too. He and Stefan are great friends and both love to tease. From Sin’s Flower

But who in the world lived like this? A princess, a queen? Hokie Okie Lily Elstone?  Surely not. Then she remembered that Tris had, for a very long time. So why had her sister left it all behind? Lily put that thought together with the one of the broken man who had drifted outside, naked for the world to see but just as closed off and then nicked her Stefan fantasy.

Maybe Benny was right. Jaxon might have a very good reason for keeping his distance.  While she had no intentions of prying, she would be lying if she said she didn’t feel the immediate need to help the guy out. But, it was late. She was tired. So she rolled over on the room’s furry rug and scratched softly at her scalp to ease her nerves. Bundling her knees to her chest in an effort to feel snug, she imagined holding that distant, naked man tightly in her arms.

Then the door opened and Benny stepped in.

“Hey, you’re still up,” he said and then stooped down to pick up her Stefan throw pillow and walked it over to her spot. “This must belong to you.”

“Don’t laugh,” she said taking it and tucking it under her knees, face down.

“So you like Stefan, eh?”

Shyness flipped on her quiet, retreat-inside-herself switch. “Yep, you caught me.”

And here is the Wicked Flower blurb:

~Editor’s Pick

Sin Pointe front man Stefan Calderon is playing a very dangerous game and his mom’s live-in caretaker, Dani Foster, just landed right smack in the middle of it.

Practically strangers when Stefan rolls into his small hometown looking to patch things up with Mom, his and Dani’s worlds collide with a hot and intense hook up. He knows right away this woman will make the perfect partner for his two weeks in town. But when she realizes whose son he is, and what he’s there to do, sexy times come to an abrupt halt.

That is until they come up with a solution. Rules. Every game needs them. The question isn’t if they’ll break them, but when and how hard.

It’s a wickedly delicious game, one neither of them intends to lose.

Thanks for letting me share with you today. If you’d like to spend more time with Stefan in his own book, you can find Wicked Flower at these lovely places:

Spray Paint Kisses by Bethany-Kris

spraypaintkisses2

How Spray Paint Kisses Started …

Thanks so much for having me on your blog today to talk about my latest release with Evernight Publishing Spray Paint Kisses. A contemporary erotic romance, the story also happens to fall into the category of new adult, considering the ages of the main characters are 22 for the hero Gage, and 21 for the heroine Summer. It isn’t often I write my characters younger, at a point where they’re just beginning to enter adulthood, but sometimes, the story requires it. I like to think these two, while still learning about things like love and life, have a maturity they’ve both earned though the choices and mistakes of their pasts.

I always love to answer the question, “So what made you write this story? What inspired it?” That’s what I’m going to talk a little bit about today before I introduce you to the story itself.

I grew up in a very small town. So small, in fact, that my graduation class only sported 80 or so graduates. These were mostly people I’d went to school with my entire life. Because when you live in a small town, you tend to take notice how small it really is, and sometimes forget about who big the real world actually is until you’re thrust right into the middle of it. My lovely spouse, who is always such a great support system and encouragement to me, also grew up in a small town, one just a short drive away from mine.

Where he grew up is where Spray Paint Kisses begins. I always knew I wanted to write a story based in his hometown, as I know so much about it, and it’s a beautiful place. A quiet, almost retirement community if you want to put it that way, the younger generation has little to do but cause trouble and make a ruckus just to have some fun. (Hey, I was one of those once …)

Unfortunately, it isn’t always innocent. Lately, the town has been plagued by some serious vandalism and things of that nature. And while sitting in my car waiting for my spouse to finish getting what he needed from the store, I noticed a young man with a pretty blonde on his arm. His hoodie was pulled up over his head to hide his face, not to mention it was the middle of summer so why did he need a hoodie anyway, right? Fashion statement, I guess. Don’t question the moods of teenagers.

Nonetheless, that wasn’t what caught my attention. It was the black spray paint smeared on his hand, the one holding a cigarette, not the one holding the girl’s at his side hand. Vandalism is illegal, and we can label it whatever we want—a crime, graffiti, or street art. That young man whose name I don’t know, and probably won’t ever, inspired an older version of my hero with spray paint on his hands, a pretty blonde at his side, and a past that wasn’t always on the right side of the law, so to speak.

I do so hope you enjoy the story of Summer and Gage in Spray Paint Kisses.

–Bethany-Kris

Spray Paint Kisses by Bethany-Kris

Genre: Contemporary Erotic Romance, New Adult

Publisher: Evernight Publishing

Release Date: August 20th, 2014

Length: 26k – Short Story

Blurb:

He’s left his mark everywhere. She’s still trying to find a place to leave hers.

Gage Masselin is a graffiti artist whose life has revolved around his art, and focused entirely on his career. He’s never needed a muse to get his inspiration flowing, so when an unexpected blonde-haired beauty knocks him out of his zone, he knows he’s in trouble.

Summer Davey is just a traveling girl with a gypsy’s soul. The one constant she has is her need to keep moving on. She’s never stayed in one place long enough to plant roots, never mind finding a man with spray paint kissing the tips of his fingers to make her heart beat faster.

She inspires him. He’s the first thing to ever feel like home.

Sometimes the hardest things to find in love and life are the easiest to lose.

Excerpt:

“Isn’t that illegal?”

Gage Masselin nearly dropped the aerosol paint can when he heard the feminine voice. Whenever he was in the middle of creating a tag, he was in the zone. There were no sounds but the constant whoosh of the spray paint can’s nozzle and his rhythmic breathing. No distractions took him away from his art.

Well, usually.

Turning on his heel, Gage forgot about the black and white bandana he still wore around his lower face as a shield from the paint fumes. The material muffled his surprise as he came face to face with the prettiest damned thing he’d ever seen in his twenty-two years of life.

Long waves of golden hair were tied off to the side in a messy braid, falling over her front. There wasn’t a lick of makeup on her clear peaches and cream complexion. Standing in gladiator style sandals, ripped up jean shorts, and a faded band T-shirt, the girl could have been just about anyone.

Except she couldn’t. Gage’s tiny New Brunswick hometown was a blink and you’d miss it kind of place. Growing up in Plaster Rock gave him the ability to know everyone, even if he didn’t officially live there fulltime anymore. Thing was, people moved away, new people didn’t move there.

Everybody knew everyone else, or they thought they did. Gage didn’t know this girl.

“Uh …”

The girl smirked before waving in Gage’s direction. “Your face.”

His face?

What?

“My—”

Instantly, Gage realized what the girl meant. The bandana still covered the lower part of his face, including his mouth. He probably looked like some little hoodrat hiding in the alley, tagging the shit out of the high school library’s wall.

No wonder she thought he was doing something illegal.

Tugging down the bandana so it rested around his throat, Gage offered the girl a shrug in explanation. “Sorry, habit to wear it. I usually don’t have company when I’m painting, so no reason to have my mouth free to chat.”

“You mean an accomplice, right?”

“No, I mean company,” Gage replied with a smile.

“I didn’t realize graffiti had become legal.”

Oh, this girl had balls, or she just liked breaking them. Either way, Gage liked that.

“It’s not. That’s probably why I spent two years in juvenile hall.”

“Wouldn’t be juvie now, though.”

“No,” Gage said. “It’d be the pen. Good thing it’s legal. I’m not looking to spend any more time in a lockup.”

The girl still didn’t look convinced.

“Honest, sweetheart. See …” Gage pointed at the piece of official paper taped to the brick wall. If a cop happened to stop by, all he had to do was refer to that permit. “Gives me the right to be here slumming up this wall with my work. The school commissioned me to do the piece. It’s all on the legal side of things, promise.”

A small hand rested on her jutted out hip. The action caused Gage to let his eyes wander down the expanse of her creamy thighs and wonder if they felt as smooth and silky as they looked. They probably did. He bet she’d taste like salt, skin, and sin.

Shit, how short were those jean shorts of hers, anyway?

Short enough that they made Gage’s mouth a little dry just from staring.

Fucked, that’s what he was, and he didn’t even know her name.

“If you say so,” the girl mused.

Gage couldn’t help but tease. “What would you have done if I said it was illegal? Call the cops?”

“Nope.”

“That’s it?”

She smiled a blinding sight. “That’s it. It is pretty.”

“Uh, thanks?”

“You’re welcome.”

With one more glance at the bare bones of the mural just beginning to take form, the girl turned to leave. Gage was positive his heart leaped into his throat, creating a lump his words couldn’t make their way by.

“Wait!”

The darkened blue of her eyes glittered as she stared back. “Yeah?”

Gage forced himself to swallow the nerves beginning to form in his throat. Nervousness wasn’t like him at all. “You didn’t tell me your name.”

“You didn’t tell me yours, either.”

“Gage. It’s Gage.”

“Summer.”

New reviews for Stacking the Deck OUT from Loose Id

SI_EB_StackingtheDeck_coverlg

“For a moment his brain stuttered in its function, and all he could do was stare. Her face was framed by tousled waves streaked with red, her wide brown eyes filled with awareness. His heart flipped once again, and his arousal grew. So much for being quiet.

“Hey, minx. Why are you awake?” He set his bags down once more and made his way to her side. He knew the answer but couldn’t help but ask. Maybe his stupidity hadn’t woke her up.

“’Cause you’re loud as hell.” She gave him a wide smile that showed off bright white teeth, but the gesture didn’t reach her eyes. “No kiss hello?”

“Well, depends on which lips you want kissed,” he teased, unable to keep from bringing sexual banter into play. He started to say something else, but her full, throaty laugh caught him off guard and caused his stomach muscles to clench and his heartbeat to speed up.

Once she recovered, she raised one sculpted, dark-brown brow. “Well, someone feels randy right now. Why don’t you put those bags away, take a shower, and join me in bed and find out.”

She sat up to show that she had slept in one of his well-worn black shirts and her pajama bottoms. He chuckled at how small she looked in the top. “Miss me that much that you’re wearing my clothes?”

She pouted. “I thought I looked good in it. Besides, it’s what’s underneath that you want.” She lifted the hem a few inches until a strip of rich cocoa skin showed in the lamplight. “You gonna shower and get in here, or do I have to take care of things on my own?” Desire burned in her eyes.

He inhaled deeply, taking in the musky tang of aroused woman, hot and awake. Fire filled his mouth, and his eyes and swirled around his body until he was filled with it. The dragon was awake and ready to claim his mate. “Taunting the dragon, love? Naughty minx.””

Review from Long and Short Reviews: “Carrie and Dean had some rough patches to work through, and this story shows how important communication is to any relationship. Once these two got into the spirit of the Truth or Dare cards, there were many possible outcomes, and this book explores the many options open to Carrie and Dean to bridge the difficult times and make their lives what they wanted. This is for those who like romance, magic and lots of heat.”- Foxglove

Moonlight Drifter (Ashton Grove Werewolves)

A new bonus novella is available in the Ashton Grove Werewolves series!

Allie Jenson has drifted from one pack to another, ever since her family died. She thinks she might have finally found a home with the Ashton Grove pack, but her life is not easy. She has a job she hates, and none of the males want her for more than sex – not that she’s giving it up. When were-tiger Cain Boudreaux takes it upon himself to “save” her from a handsy customer, by claiming her in front of their packmates no less, things get a little out of hand. He’s rude, chauvinistic, and totally not her type. Well, maybe he’s not completely not her type. He does have that tall, dark, and sexy thing going on. And that Cajun accent slides across her skin like warm silk. But what in the heck is she going to do with a man who thinks her place is barefoot and in the kitchen?

About the Author:

Jessica lives in a world where warlocks, shapeshifters and fairies exist, and everyone deserves a happy ending — from tragic vampires finally finding love after centuries of being alone, to super hunky womanizing werewolves finding their destined mate –- it’s all in a day’s work.

Unable to find a werewolf of her very own, she decided to marry someone who thinks he’s one -– minus howling at the full moon, fleas, and a rousing game of chase-the-mailman. Okay, so he sometimes howls at the full moon.

When she isn’t writing, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family, reading (mostly romance), or going to the beach. She’s especially fond of bookstores and Starbucks!

The Summer Heat by Elodie Parkes

Thank you for inviting me to your blog to talk about my new Evernight Publishing release, ‘The Summer Heat’.

A ménage romance, two guys and a girl, this is erotic, contemporary romance that sizzles.

 thesummerheat3SM

The Summer Heat

When lifelong friends Nate and Evan watch the arrival of a new neighbor, they never expect to find their friendship rocked by the lovely Annabel who moves into the empty house next door.

Annabel likes both Nate and Evan the moment she meets them. As they all grow close, will she be forced to choose between these gorgeous men?

Inspiration behind the story:

The inspiration came from a tree being cut down in the communal gardens where I currently live. I didn’t even see it felled, but I was immensely saddened as this was a healthy young tree. In my story, the gorgeous guys are cutting down a diseased tree in their garden, and that’s how they see Annabel move in next door.

My characters:

Annabel. She’s ready for love and looking for someone after her last miserable relationship. I imagine her surprise when she meets Nate and Evan, and has strong attraction to both of them.

Nate: He’s gentle, kind, sensually sexy, very good looking. Friends mean a lot to him. You can feel safe and loved with him, but boy do you know when he’s made love to you.

Evan: Strong, alpha, hides his emotions, but sex just drips from his gorgeous body. He calls you babe and takes charge, all the while your soft skin under his fingertips blows his mind.

They got through her front door before they leapt on each other.

Nate didn’t know how they got their clothes off. The haze of lust at the deliciousness of her kisses fogged his brain. They were in Annabel’s living room, and he was already pounding into her.

Her lips brushed against his ear. Her whispers and moans mingled with his moaning.

He held her under the ass and fucked her hard as she clung to him.

Her hands on his shoulders, she met his thrusts with her hips raised.

His orgasm started with his balls tightening so that he thrust into her as deep as he could. Into his heart dropped the need to make sure she came. He slowed down, kissed her lips, nibbled down her neck, and sucked there.

She bucked her hips to his.

He ground his cock on her clit as he slid into her again.

She moaned into his mouth.

Her pussy clenched around his cock as she pressed her body against him, and he knew she was coming. It filled him with love. He didn’t need to pound into her to come. His orgasm flowed over him as he kissed her. It buckled his knees and weakened his thighs as the ripples of sensation jerked his cock inside her. Nate groaned as Annabel’s tongue touched the tip of his. He pressed his stomach against her enjoying the pressure and satin texture of her skin on his. A melting sensation drifted over him, and he rested his forehead on her shoulder.

“How do you feel?” He whispered against her ear.

She made a little sound, not quite a word.

He interpreted it as pleasure. That’s what it sounded like to him, as if she’d tasted something good. He lifted his head and kissed her tenderly. “Next time, maybe we can slow down, but I needed that so bad.”

Author interview:

Are you working on another book right now?

I’m working on three books, right now. Two are contemporary erotic romance, and one is romance Sci-Fi.

Naturally, they are all love stories, with HEA. I have to have that in my books.

I’m not writing much though, because of my day job, where I have shifts, and I’m editing for the releases in the latter part of this year.

What do you enjoy most about writing?

My characters and setting becoming so real to me.

What do you like the least?

Marketing. It’s so time consuming and quite soul destroying when you’d rather be writing. (Smiles)

Would you like to see any of your books as movies?

None of them. I’d be there fussing about the script staying true to the book, or the casting. (Laughs).

What things do you like to do to relax?

I find writing relaxing, but I also like to get out into the countryside near where I live. I enjoy visiting the historic places too. I read, watch movies and I love music. I’m often singing along with something as I drive.

Do you have another job as well as writing?

Yes, I have to. I work for an antiques emporium. It’s very tourist driven, so right now I have late night hours and work all weekend and holidays. I do shifts, usually start about midday or two in the afternoon, and work through until ten or eleven. It means I’ve taken a hiatus from writing so my stories mentioned above are waiting for me. I can feel them there wanting to be written.

If you could have one super power in your existence, what would it be?

It would have to be healing.

If money were not an object, where would you most like to live?

I live in the country where I want to, maybe I’d move down the coast to Cornwall or Devon, closer to the ocean, which I love.

What kind of car would you have if money was no object?

I have the car I want. I’m a Jeep person and always drive them.

What’s your favorite color?

I have two I love, oh wait three, blue, purple and green.

Can you think of a song or piece of music that could be your theme tune?

It changes for me every time someone in an interview asks, (laughs) right now it’s The Eagles: Tequila Sunrise. That’s because I usually see the sunrise after arriving home very late at night, editing, networking, or real life stuff, like my laundry, and then I flop to sleep for a few hours. (laughs again) Check out my dark shadows.

Just answer these questions as quickly as possible.

Chocolate or vanilla?

Chocolate

Dog or cat?

Dog and horse

The film or the book?

Both (sorry)

Jeans or skirt?

Jeans but sometimes little black dress

Beach or Snow resort?

Countryside and beach

Heels or flats?

Boots, depends where I’m going if they are heeled or flat

Stockings or pantyhose?

Stockings, love them

Top or bottom?

Er…both if I can get it…

Is there anything you would like to say to your readers?

Thank you for reading my books. I write from the heart so you get a piece of it every time you read one of my stories. (Smiles)

Venus in Fur Coat by Ela Stein

First of all, thank you so much for having me here today! “Venus In Fur Coat” is a bit of a rarity of me – it’s a contemporary romance and I’m more of a sci-fi/fantasy type of gal. But when inspiration strikes, you don’t ask questions. The idea for this story came to me fully formed, which was kind of cool. I also love the art aspect in it – I’ve painted and drawn my whole life, and more recently (well, like the past 10 years at this point), have done a lot of scrapbooking. So I’m a bit of an artist at heart, and I really identify with Derek. And I also identify with Cara, who has a very practical streak to her. After all, I did set all my artsy stuff aside to pursue school and a more traditional career. So I guess one could say that they both have different aspects of my personality… and it was kind of cool watching them come together 🙂

“Venus In Fur Coat” is a Rubenesque/BBW, New Adult, Contemporary, Erotic Romance short story (8,900) words.

 unnamedVF

Blurb:

Cara is an accounting major in college, and she is practical, a little cynical, and focused on her studies. When she allows her roommate to drag her to a frat party, the last thing she expects is running into the artsy-bad-boy type who tempts her to throw all her typical reservations out the window.

Derek tends to go with his feelings—intense and passionate, with a strong alpha streak. It will be up to him to bring Cara out of her shell and help her experience life to its fullest. Both of them feel that special spark, and one passionate night could change the course of their lives forever.

Excerpt:

Derek followed her through the hallway. She was already walking down the street, away from the house by the time he made it outside. He watched her walking away, debating whether he should approach her now. It was dark out, and he didn’t want to freak her out by seeming stalker-ish. But then again, if she was going to be walking around alone at night, she’d probably be better off with a friendly stalker keeping her company.

Having decided, he set off at a light jog to catch up with her. She wasn’t too far ahead, likely slowed down by her high-heeled boots. His cock had responded as soon as he first laid eyes on her, standing there all timid and uncertain, and now that he could see her ass wiggling as she walked, he grew painfully hard. His jeans were not designed to accommodate a huge hard-on. He adjusted himself just before catching up to her.

She was everything that turned him on in a woman. Curves in all the right places, so voluptuous that he could just imagine himself sinking into her, her soft cushioning against his own hard planes. Her hair had an adorable bit of frizz to it, and she wore it pulled back from an angelic face. The face of a goddess. A face right out of ancient paintings by the great masters.

His boots crunched on the gravel and she stopped and turned around. His heart picked up speed when their gazes met again, and he was glad he followed his gut. No way was he giving up until he got to know her better. Dating just for the hell of it was starting to lose its appeal. If he was honest with himself, he’d had his fill of it for a long time, but until now, no one had come along that made him want anything more serious.

“Hey.” Maybe not the most eloquent way to start the conversation, but she stood staring at him with wide eyes and a startled expression, waiting for him to say something.

“Hi.” Her voice was a whisper. The wind picked up speed and rustled through the leaves in the trees around them, as though echoing her.

“It’s not safe to be walking around alone at night.” Criticizing her choices, right off the bat, probably wasn’t the greatest way to make an impression, but it had been a pretty bad move on her part. Even if she wanted nothing to do with him, he didn’t like the idea of her walking around alone at night. There were too many assholes out there, and it just wasn’t safe.

She raised a brow in response and crossed her arms across her chest. He guessed that was her pissed-off look, but it was somewhat spoiled by how hot her tits looked pushed up that way.

“Oh, really? I guess it’s safer to be out here at night with a total stranger?”

About Ela Stein:

Reading was my entertainment and salvation as a child, and it transferred into a passion for writing. I am still very much a reader, and love many different genres, from erotic romance, to fantasy (and dark fantasy… Game of Thrones, anyone?), to historical fiction, and that love is reflected in my own writing as well. If you’d like to learn more about me, or chat about books and life, you can find me all over the web. I’d love hearing from my readers. You can find me here:
