Bad Kitty by Eliza Gayle

A feisty heroine and a hero determined to claim her… I loved the characters, the storyline was great… overall, I’d recommend it to anyone who loves shifter stories.

About the Book:

If you think you’ve lost everything. Think again.

Kitty lost her father, her home and her clan. Clinging to what’s left of her pride, she’s forced into the neutral zone, the supposed safe haven for half-breeds and outcasts. An attack forces her to the wrong side of the treaty line and into an even more dangerous situation. Determined to greet death with the last of her dignity, she is suddenly rescued by a tall, gorgeous…wolf???

As the next alpha leader of his pack, Rafe Comyn has more than enough to handle with pack politics and precarious treaties. The last thing he needs is a pissed off feline landing in his lap, especially when her scent triggers his overwhelming drive to mate. While the daughter of a former rival is quite a conquest, she’s both forbidden and dangerous.

But as the heat of desire threatens to consume them, their differences escalate and Rafe must keep his own pack from killing the one woman he can’t live without.

ABOUT THE BOOK:

There is a law that binds an Alpha to his wolf and stops him from hurting others of his pack. If an Alpha lashes out with the intention to harm, then his wolf will stop it, forcing on the transition…but one wolf has found the loophole.

Chain is determined to inflict harm. He sends out the one woman he wants but cannot have, Victoria. She will be his Alpha Bait, luring another Alpha to his death, thus freeing Chain from the control of his wolf. For most of her adult life Victoria has been at the mercy of Chain. He scares her more than anything else. Doing as she’s told, Victoria sets the trap in order to gain Scorch’s attention.

Scorch is a good leader and strong Alpha. He will not hurt anyone. When a beautiful red-head ends up in his care, he cannot turn away from the attraction she inspires. Their wolves are mates, and they’re destined to be together.

However, what will Scorch do when he realizes Victoria is with him to lure him to his death? Can she really send the man she loves to his grave? Being Alpha Bait was never her choice, but who really holds her loyalty, Chain or Scorch?

Croc and the Fox – Review

Croc And The Fox by Eve Langlais

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Renee comes off as vulnerable and helpless in the beginning, but as the story is told, she blossoms and finds an inner strength she didn’t realize she had. Viktor is your typical alpha male, but I laughed as he tried to fight off Renee’s innocent advances, knowing he would crumble sooner or later. The action in the story was well placed and Mastermind was finally unmasked. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the tale, from beginning to end.

All Roar and No Bite – Review

All Roar and No Bite by Celia Kyle

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Ms. Kyle did an amazing job, as always. I enjoyed getting to know Van more, and I loved how Lauren was both sassy and vulnerable. She didn’t mind taking a bat to someone who richly deserved it, but she was also happy letting her bear step in to take care of her.

Wrong Turn Review

Wrong Turn by Taylor Law

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Wrong Turn has a lot of potential. I like the storyline, for the most part, but I felt like the characters weren’t as well developed as they could have been. If the author had added just a few more pages of description and emotion, I think it would have made the story shine a little more. It read a little like a rough draft and not a finished, polished piece.

Bear Naked and Bite Marks Review

Bear Naked and Bite Marks by Jenika Snow

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I had hoped, since the beginning of the Wylde Bears series, that Melissa would find her perfect mate, and Declan is definitely perfect for her. I thought the bad guy was easy to guess from the beginning, but aside from that it was a good story. I’m not sure if I will read it again or not, but it was definitely worth reading once.

Stacking the Deck – a review

Eostre’s Baskets: Stacking the Deck by Selena Illyria

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Who could possibly resist a sexy dragon and a naughty fairy? While I don’t typically read books where the couple has been together for a while, I found myself turning page after page. The sex scenes were explosive, and quite creative, and you could feel the emotional tension between Dean and Carrie. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves shifter or fairy romances.

Trickster Review

Trickster by Nicola Cameron

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I haven’t read very many m/m romances, but this one sounded interesting. I have to say that it didn’t disappoint. The story itself was wonderful and I enjoyed the interaction between the characters. I’ll definitely look for more books by this author in the future.

Snake Charmer Review

Snake Charmer by Zenina Masters

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I’ve loved all of the Shifting Crossroads books, but this one just fell a little flat for me. I didn’t feel the connection between the hero and heroine, not like I have in the other stories in the series. I liked the characters themselves, as well as the storyline, but when it was all put together is just seemed to be missing something.

Propositions Mr. Raine — review

Propositioning Mr. Raine by Laurann Dohner

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

By the time I finished this book, I was salivating, wanting more. I think I devoured it in about two hours, flipping one page after another, unable to put it down even long enough for a bathroom break. I’ve always had a thing for cowboy romances, but this is probably the best one I’ve read in the past year, at least. Maybe in the past decade.

Description
Book one in the Riding the Raines series.Trina Mattews lost her husband of sixteen years to a tragic accident. Starting her life over in the small town of Hailey, Texas, at the age of thirty-eight sounded like a good idea but she never counted on the loneliness she’d experience.

Navarro Raine is the hottest man she’s ever seen. He’s tall, with piercing blue eyes and Native American beauty. He fills her nighttime fantasies and makes her wonder about all the things she’s yet to experience in bed. And Navarro has a reputation for being very good in that department…

Discovering he’s about to lose his family ranch, Trina has the perfect solution for both of them. She’s willing to offer Navarro the money to save his ranch if he’ll give her the kind of sex she’s only read about. It might be the craziest thing she’s ever done but after years of vanilla sex, she’s made up her mind—it’s time to taste a few more flavors.
