MY REVIEW OF ALPHA BULLY:

It was only recently that I discovered a fondness for bully romances. I know they turn off a lot of people, but let me explain why I like books like this one. Cole comes across as a true alpha-hole, totally unredeemable. Until you get to know him, understand why he’s acting that way toward Bailey. Not that I condone bullying at any point, because I don’t. However, getting a look at what’s going on in his life off page so to speak, makes him seem more approachable as the hero of a romance. I liked watching his interactions with Bailey when others weren’t present, seeing the two of them grow closer.
This story is 100% erotic so definitely not for young adult readers, even though the main characters are in high school. The sex scenes weren’t just tossed in randomly, but were very well-placed and well-written. Ms. Rose used the intimate moments to bring her characters closer together.
If you enjoy a bully romance, especially one with shifters, then Alpha Bully by Renee Rose is a must read! My only lament was that it wasn’t longer. I’d hoped to get more of a glimpse of where Bailey and Cole were heading, but perhaps we’ll find out in another book at some point.
