A skintight black dress hugged her curves, stopping mere inches below her ass. Matching strappy sandals adorned her small feet. “I told you to call me.”
“What you said was that it had been fun and you wouldn’t mind doing it again sometime. That doesn’t translate into me not dancing with other men.”
“I didn’t like seeing you with them.”
“You’re not the kind of guy I need right now, Alex. You don’t want to be tied down, and I’m not going to tie myself to a guy who can’t commit to me.” She turned and walked off a few steps before facing him again. “Don’t interfere again.”
She heard Alex curse behind her as she walked back toward the bar, intent on downing another drink. Instead, halfway there, she changed her mind and left the club.
