MY REVIEW – 4 stars

Super cute, lighter romance, with lots of steam!

This story is an insta-love with a teensy bit of drama, but perfect if you need to relax and want some laughs. I enjoyed the characters, both main and secondary, and especially loved Griff’s reactions to Kinsey. While he adored her intelligence, it seemed to make him tongue-tied so he’d trip over himself whenever he spoke to her. It didn’t help his father had made him feel stupid all his life.

The only downside (for me) had to do with Kinsey, and at times Morgan as well. As much as I understood the reasoning behind a lot of what Kinsey did – and Morgan’s conversations with her – and their fight to survive in a male-dominated workspace, it was brought up a little too frequently for me, and took me out of the story on occasion. I’m all for empowering women and having equality in the workplace, but I read fiction, especially romances, to escape from reality not immerse myself even more in the issues of today’s world.

Overall, it was an enjoyable story.
