I signed the contract. Now he owns me.

For one night, I’m determined to let my hair down.
It’s New Year’s Eve and I’ve got a ticket to the hottest party in town.
I find myself dancing with none other than alien Lord Tauas Choer himself!
Everything’s going great…
Until morning rolls around and his latest invention makes me redundant.

With no way to take care of my disabled sister, I accept the first job I can get.
I’m going to be nanny to the daughter of a rich and powerful alien lord…
The same alien I danced with that night…
The same alien I lost my heart to…
The same alien who cost me my dream job.

But there’s a darkness in Tauas that he has yet to confront.
He’s plagued by nightmares and a ravenous desire for more, more, more.
I sign his contract. Now he owns me.
And I fear he wants me to take care of more than just his little girl…

MY REVIEW – 4 stars

Are you debating whether or not to read Nanny for the Alien Lord? Did you see the title and alternate between a hum-drum “not another nanny/alien book” and an excited “ooohh, another nanny/alien book!” … Let me set your mind at ease. Nanny for the Alien Lord is a bit cliched in the Nanny/Rich Alien scheme of things, but it offers so much more. From Belle’s insistence on taking care of her sister, to her stubborn pride when it comes to accepting help, and even her inability to be honest with herself over her feelings for her sexy alien boss, there’s enough drama to keep you flipping the pages. And did I mention the steamy sex? Because there’s quite a bit of that too.

The opening chapter didn’t immediately hook me, but by the end of chapter two, I needed to know what happened next. Belle was such a strong character, even when faced with her weaknesses, that I admired her greatly. The way Tauas helped care for not only Belle, but her sister as well, was heartwarming. He didn’t try to hold Belle back, but wanted to lift her up. Even more, he wanted her in his life — and as far more than the nanny.

The sparks between Tauas and Belle were immediate. But for every bit as much as Belle fell in love with Tauas, she loved his daughter just as much.

Nanny for the Alien Lord is a sexy, heartwarming, page-turning read that will leave you smiling and wishing there was more.
