MY REVIEW:

4 stars

The October Faction Volume 1 doesn’t have a lot in the way of a story, but it does introduce you to the main characters, prominent secondary characters, and the bad guys. I think it sets things up nicely for the rest of the series, giving you just enough to want more.

The art is phenomenal! If you like darker artwork, reminiscent of Edgar Allan Poe and The Addams Family, you’ll enjoy the images in this graphic novel. I’m looking forward to picking it up a copy of Volume 2, and I can’t wait to see how Netflix handles the cinematic adaptation.

*Disclaimer: The review above is only my opinion. Neither the publisher nor author requested a review. I purchased a copy of the graphic novel from a comic shop.
